"My partner and I visited the restaurant on a whim as I'd heard about it and we were in town. The starters were delicious, chicken tikka and black pudding. Both exquisitely cooked and the accompanying salads were fresh and tasty. We shared a large pizza as our main (pepperoni, onion and chilli) which was delicious and very filling. Great service by the staff, we'll definitely be going again and recommending to friends."

"We went to Christmas dinner, although it was nice, it wasn't as good as I expected. the starter I chose was goat cheese and cranberry packages - that was nice, but more Filo bakery than filling, the dinner I eat for the truthahn meal, great portions, but swim in gravy. Maybe it would have been better if in a gravy boot. but the pudding was excellent millionaire cheesecake that was delicious. coffee"

"Excellent, friendly service, but oh dear! the food was clearly poor. How did they manage to cook and deliver such a bad pizza on earth? It's hard if you have a decent oven... The cheese had formed too hard nodules, the tomato sauce was insipid, the bacon was practically not existent. Dessert (white chocolate with raspberry charcoal) was fine, but probably this came directly from the central factory ASK and did not require any culinary intervention... The place was pretty much abandoned at a Sunday lunch time not hard to see why, unfortunately."

"Ordered a starter garlic bread with cheese. Arrived with a lump of cheese on cheese on top. Not evenly spread and very dry. Then waited an hour for main which was worse than the starter. Had ordered a margarita pizza with additional toppings. Toppings were...very dry and were just thrown on top. Not much tomato spread and not much cheese. No flavour or taste. It felt like chewing on cardboard. When I raised this with the waiter I was told that they’re quite busy today with lots of people attending following their exam results. Not sure what this has to do with the quality of the food. No refund given because I ate part of it. Didn’t want to wait another hour so put up with the thing."

"Our first time in cibo, came very recommended was fantastic! eating was so delicious, top quality, fresh, red hot, by far the best Italian eating in bolton. the personal was also beautiful. Nice that we experienced cibo, we will soon see them again!"

"Went easter Sunday, we arrived early as I couldn't remember the time I had booked for. No problem had a drink in the bar area while we waited. We didn't wait long even though they were busy. Shown to our table and ordered our meal. Starters arrived well presented and got where needed to be, very tasty and we did share them between ourselves. They kindly gave us time in between courses which is always good for me. The king and Queen dish which I had was amazing the fish was perfectly cooked nothing worse than under our overcooked). Hubby had the calzone pizza and again plenty of filling and very tasty. No idea how but also managed a pudding. Perfect evening had. Thank you to all the staff who make our rare visits very special"
