"We went to this restaurant on a friend’s recommendation and must say, thoroughly enjoyed the food. It was buzzing on the nite and the ambiance was very good. Special shout for Rahul who was very accommodating and looked after us very well indeed. We all came away feeling we will definitely visit again"

"We wanted to use taste card but due to something in Arena they wouldn’t accept it, which made it very expensive for what it was, food was good though my wife’s burger bun was cremated. Would visit Again but only if I could make use...of taste card as not great value"

"Sanzio is my amazing local Italian. It’s not glam but it is very cosy and incredibly welcoming. The entire decor of the restaurant is so very homey, with windows decked in gleaming gold fairly lights, the dark wooden tables littered with shimmering candles, and an array of paintings on the walls. Named after Raphael Sanzio da Urbino, and Italian painter and architect of the high renaissance the restaurants has a similar traditional artistic feel. The restaurant also has bay windows which can be opened out in Summer to let in a cooling breeze making it in all a very relaxing location. Could I Afford Seconds? Yes. The prices are perfect for the amount of food served. It’s not incredibly cheap as you sometime get in small local restaurants, but the prices are worth it. A pasta dish can cost about £7- £12 and a pizza about £8. As with all traditional Italian menus the number of dishes on offer is extensive with substantial choice for vegetarians. Would I Want Seconds? Yes. The food, like the décor, is relaxed and fulfilling. The portions are large enough to fill you up but also allow some space for dessert. Overall: This is the ideal little location for a small romantic meal or a laid back gathering of friends. I’m in love with the comfy, cosy and totally charming atmosphere it has in the evenings and the food is lovely too.It’s a 5/5 for my little secret restaurant."

"Lovely little Italian delicatessen, that’s run by wonderfully friendly, and nice people. I have been looking for an alternative to the Jamie Oliver easy cook lasagne sheets, that have sadly been discontinued. L’angolo have lasagne sheets from Italy, that cook through the same way, which is effortlessly perfect in the oven dish bake time, without any pre-cooking. They do a nice olive spread and stock fresh Italian butter. Croissants are excellent if your happy with the calorie intake. All in all Highly recommend giving this excellent place a visit."

"Avoid. Never great food, surly service, but at five pounds who cares right? However, when something goes a bit wrong their true colours show. Only had a credit card on me (new debit card is being delivered), so checked the sign on the door that they accepted visa before going in. When the £9.95 bill came they insisted there was a £15 limit and refused to take payment. This was followed fifteen minutes of the waiter insisting they couldn 't do anything because 'they just work there ' and repeatedly suggested I see if the cashpoint over the road could give me cash. As if I 'm going to screw over my credit rating by getting cash out on a credit card! Then other member of staff came over and started blankly repeating that I 'should have asked ' about the spending limit, as if a £15 limit in a zone 2 restaurant is a common thing. I offered to pay an extra 50p or a pound to cover any fees which has been possible at every pub I 've ever been to with a similar, lower limit. Refused. Was sorely tempted just to walk out, but I didn 't want these staff to loose any wages no matter how bad they were at their jobs. Ended up having to buy two bottles of Peroni to up the bill. No customer service. No attempt to problem solve. Terrible place, terrible people. Don 't go."

"I’m Italian and my partner is Spanish. A friend recommend us this restaurant and we just fell in love! The quality, the taste of the food are just perfect! It really reminds us of our loved Spain The staff is very friendly and the prices are really good! We don’t live close, but we always try to eat there at least once a month! Highly recommend!"
