"Such a let down. The ambience was fabulous, the setting outside was beautiful in the sun, a busker playing acoustic guitar, we honestly thought it couldn't get better as the place was quite busy.<br>
We ordered the bacon and eggs benedict for $14.90, cafe latte, hot chocolate and pancakes with caramelised banana and maple syrup $17.90 (charged an extra $5 for a scoop of ice cream and cream). The E&B benny appeared on a very small slice of sourdough with a small piece of bacon and 2 very small poached eggs. The hollandaise was a very peculiar runny frothy milky liquid which was entirely reminiscent of not Hollandaise.. The pancakes...well devo. When paying $18 for pancakes you expect homemade, fluffy cakes of goodness right? Not Tip Top, straight out of a packet from Woolworth's, cheap and nasty. "We needed a bit of a lift after my husband had been through the worst of an operation on a fractured ankle so I decided to celebrate at the place that never disappoints- Sage. It was a wonderful and relaxing lunch with the most flavoursome and exciting food and attentive service. We both came away feeling not only satisfied but nourished. Thanks as always to Sage for delivering in spades"

"The Tuesday $15 pasta and drink is a great option, and we had the housemade ricotta gnocchi which was simply divine. We also enjoyed a seafood spaghetti. Service was quick, food was delicious, this is an easy way to catch up with friends during a lunch break."

"I liked the premise of authentic wood fired pizzas and best pizzas in town. So off I went to sample Pizza Artigiana. This is a nice little shop with a good layout and friendly staff, good service. I just ordered two pizzas, the Margherita and another one topped with ricotta and salami. The toppings were yummy. Don 't go in expecting the oversaturated decadence of takeaway pizza. It 's simple and classic. The salami wasn 't like wow or anything. The basil and tomato sauce was also like, just ok. The let down was the crust. I was expecting some amazing woodfired goodness but it just tastes like a normal toasted pizza. The crust was toooooo salty, I threw it away. Such a waste since they are pretty small pizzas for $20 each. I had a cup of tea and 2x glasses of orange juice and my body is still rejecting the salt levels. I haven 't been to Italy so I have no way of knowing whether all authentic pizza dough is this salty. Would I go again? No, because of the salty crust. Fix that, and it 's a reasonable place to eat. Could improve to 4 or even 5 stars with less salt."

"Nice hipster-esque cafe hidden in the loading zone at Melbourne building. Great place for breakfast or lunch with a very Italian inspired menu, even though it's changed a bit since it first started. I recommend the taleggio and mushroom omelette with is just bursting with flavour."

"On the recommendation of a friend we dropped in for lunch and what a pleasant surprise. The food is traditional French but with a modern twist. All dishes exuded flavour without being overbearing. The service was excellent and the price exceedingly reasonable compared to some bigger name Canberra eateries. We'll be back with others to try the 5 course degustation.....can't wait."

"This is a place that you could easily visit for a casual meal as I did but could also be great for groups or even a nice romantic dinner (depending on the other patrons). pasta was just what I wanted and the service was prompt and cheerful. All in all it ticked all the boxes."
