"I can only speak about their pizza, but I have so much to say. They make the BEST grandma slices around. The dough is flakey and crispy, the sauce is thick and flavorful and cheese is perfectly melted. (It's quite evident they use a good quality mozzarella). I wish I could marry a man who is like this pizza because I fall in love every time we're in each other's presence."

"Came here after playing 18 holes of golf so we were famished. We were sat down immediately but no server for a long time. We had to flag someone down. They never brought or offered any water, didn 't bring any bread. I was parched and I had to get the staffs attention to bring the drink I ordered. They forgot to bring out the appetizer we ordered which was realized when we got the bill. The rice was very bland so I wanted hot sauce but that took 15 minutes. I wanted some more white sauce and that took another 10 minutes. Our waitress was working very hard, I just think all the service issues are due to the place being understaffed. Restaurant was busy, but that doesn 't excuse the really bad service. We were looking for a relatively quick dinner and it ended up taking a lot longer. We spent most of the time trying to get wait staffs attention.I ordered the chicken kebab plate. The chicken was decent, the grilled vegetables on the side was just broccoli. I did not like the yellow rice it came with. I would 've loved to try the dessert and tea but I just couldn 't take it any more and left."

"This was a very good slice of Pizza that should rank well on the Pizza Hunters App. People at the counter were very nice and even the man at the Pizza Oveb took time to say hello and goodbye, which you dont get ar every Pizzeria. The Pizza crust was thin and very tasty , perfectly charred on the bottom. The sauce and cheese was excellent and a provided a solid ratio. I would give it 4.5 stars, wish Google had half stars. Great Job."

"We had gone to their sister restaurant, Il Goccino, in Madison, and enjoyed an excellent meal there; they told us their father was the chef at another location, in Cranford, and two or three weeks later we went there for an early dinner. The owners (the father and uncle of the young men running the Madison location) were friendly, and seemed happy that we had taken their sons? recommendation. The premises, like the place in Madison, was very clean, and the food was amazing. The presentation was excellent and tasted as good as it looked. my girlfriend lives in New York City, and she has dined at many Italian restaurants there; she is very picky about food, a restaurant?s cleanliness, and food presentation- and she told me (and the owners) that their two places were the best she had ever dined in In New Jersey, and among the best restaurants she has ever eaten at anywhere. Triestina is now our favorite local restaurant. Prices are quite reasonable, and well worth every penny. I have spent as much or more in other places and not walked away as satisfied at having had a great meal as we had here. We saw people come in after we arrived, and most, if not all, seemed to be regulars. In fact, we overheard one man at a nearby table telling his son and (apparently) his nephew that he has been coming to Triestina for years, and boasting about how good the food is. I almost envy him for his having enjoyed dining there for years, as I only discovered it now, despite having lived in the area for many years! All in all, it?s a wonderful place, and I just made reservations for Valentines Day. Obviously, I highly recommend it."

"Food was excellent. Only negative was that they gave my friend the wrong meal and it had shrimp in it and she's allergic to shellfish. Fortunately she was ok and they were very apologetic. but I think they should have at least offered her a free meal."

"Brought my 3 kids. Had a variety of dishes, food was all excellent. Wait staff was pretty overloaded, place was full and there were only 3-4 servers and one was hosting as well. Was my first time so not sure if they were short staffed or if that is the normal state of affairs. Will definitely be back."
