"Here for dinner because the reviews were good and the prices were not bad. so glad that we did it and we will definitely add it to our places while eating in galveston. the fried mushrooms were great and the cheese-bread with Alfredo sauce was so good. we got the Texas size pfefferoni and everyone could just eat a piece cuz it was so big."

"First time to visit and enjoy sitting on the terrace with some others.. I asked very friendly and helpful waiters, Rockwell, for suggestions for type of grilled shrimp taste and sides.. I was totally blown away from the super delicious food I received!!! The darkened shrimps and buttery delicate fresh vegetables with bistro potatoes were excellent!!! Rockwell made sure you check us to make sure everything was to our satisfaction!!! Awesome! I will be sure to return soon to try some of the other tempting menu meals! Recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves really delicious food!!!"

"Terrible and extremely rude staff act like you are bothering them to take your order taking deep breath and shaking head because I wanted to add chips.. won't look you in the eyes at all or reply when I said sorry as if doing me a favor to take my business.. go here if you want to be treated like dirt"

"Great ice cream and great custom service!We visited on a cooler Thursday evening and the locaton was understandably quiet. We sampled a few of the very unique flavors that you can't really find anywhere else such as French Toast and Bacon. Reasonable prices and generous portions makes Mikey's Ice Cream a huge winner.Forget the chains and stay with the local shops, especially when it's this good!"

"We visited the menu on the line, but found that the menu was reduced and the dishes we came for were not available. We had a reservation of 5:30 and we were filled the second table, but we were told that the special was sold out and two of the five designs beers on the beverage card were not available. Our server was embarrassing and we can't keep him responsible, but it almost got weird. After we found a redfish. We said it was a red snapper and later that it was actually salmon. I guess it's all red, right?"

"I am waffling between 3 and 4 stars. Pizza was good, but I have a warning for those with picky kids. Why on earth they can't just have regular crumbled sausage like my child expects, idk, but be warned their sausage is sliced (I thought it was delicious but my daughter demanded it be removed . Second point is that the Greek salad we ordered LOOKED amazing, until I spotted a live fly that was thoroughly coated with oil and entombed within the salad, so I'll concede I lost my appetite for the salad before I ever consumed any of the $8 worth of salad I gave to Mario's. All in all, it's a great (practically the only choice for pizza on this side of the island."
