"Came here because I drove by the day before and saw it. We were going to the big chain Italian food restaurant but decided to Give this one a try. WE LOVED IT! Food was delicious and the waiter was very very friendly and knowledgeable. Forgot to take a picture of the actual food. But took one of the cheesecake and that was the best cheesecake I've ever had. A bit pricey. But will be coming back"

"The pasta was delicious and reasonably priced. The burrata also tasted very fresh although I did not fully love the prosciutto. Giving 5 stars due to the pasta being really good. Service was also quite fast even with a line out the door to be seated."

"I've been going to this restaurant since I was a kid. It is one of the best pizzerias round. Her pizza is not fat and they never flatter on the blows. You can choose from thin crust or its original crust, both are great. You make your pizza just as you like it at no cost. Your calzone is also a must try, it is pack full of everything you want. So, if you ever around Gardena (or shopping in Pacific Marukai) you need to try a slice of their amazing pizza that is also sold by the slice. Your location in Pacific Square Plaza, Monday thru Saturday and they offer delivery in the Gardena area."

"I had been going to the other Italian restaurant that was located in Torrance on Hawthorne Blvd. for many, many years which by the way closed down for good a few years ago. I wished I had ventured to Lomeli 's earlier than I did. The food at Lomeli 's surpasses that of the 'V.... ' restaurant. I drove past there several times always saying, 'someday I need to try this place ', but never did until this year. We started by just ordering take out at first getting their lasagna which is my favorite pasta dish and it is absolutely amazing! Quality ingredients used to make each bite an exquisite experience. Two nights ago my husband and I finally went and dined in on my birthday. We were seated promptly and were given an appetizer of pepperoncinis and carrot sticks with delicious ranch dressing. Of course I ordered my favorite, lasagna, and my husband got the cheese ravioli with meat sauce. My dinner was complimentary because of it being my birthday. I was surprised to find that soup or salad came as part of the meal and along with a glass of wine and dessert! And not just on my meal but my husband 's meal as well. What a bargain! The salad wasn 't just lettuce like the 'V.... ' restaurant offered, but it had a slice of cheese, pepperoni slices, olives, in short it was an antipasto salad! Yummy, my favorite salad and it was extremely tasty! Dessert was ice cream and it was premium ice cream. I had the cappuccino ice cream with bits of coffee nubs laced throughout. I wished I hadn 't eaten as much of my entree as I couldn 't finish my dessert which made me sad to leave the last bite behind. The leftover meal could be boxed but not the ice cream. The staff sang 'Happy Birthday ' and addressed me by name which made it all the more a special occasion. What other restaurant does this? None other than Lomeli 's! The service was stellar! We will be dining there more often. My waistline may not like it but my tummy and taste buds will. Bravo Carlo Lomeli, owner of Lomeli 's! You 're my new favorite restaurant, and like your motto says, 'We 'll see you again tomorrow! '"

"Why is it called 'Spoon ' house for noodles place??? What monster is eating speghatti with a spoon!! Food/Taste/Flavor: 4/5 ordered Japanese Style Cod Roe with Squid and Seaweed Japanese Style Cod Roe with Sea Urchin and Squid to go around 7:45 PM on a week night. The noodles are always cooked wonderfully with just the right bite and the seasoning is delicious. The lemon slice given helps cut through some of the butter which is a great balance. There was only a tiny piece of sea urchin which is extremely disappointing and for some odd reason that noodle dish was a little... dry. The fresh bread is amazing as usual, didn 't disappoint Ambience: N/A took the food to go but the shop is very clean and the decor simple but with some bold blues. If you sit at the counter, you may have a great view of the chefs Service: 4/5 the waitress was very attentive and immediately greeted us and came to took orders when we closed the menu and look back up. She forgot our requests for condiments.. our cheese!!!! T_T Value for price: 5/5 great noodles, great bread, great service!"

"Really enjoyed my time here.Went to Akane Chaya solo because the hamburg steak tempted me. Despite its location being right next to a large parking lot Akane Chaya took care to not let that be distracting from the atmosphere and food by using curtains. The vibes are very relaxing and homey and on the quieter side, playing soft cafe jazz and having warm yellow lighting. The service was very considerate and making sure that you were enjoying yourself and that everything is good on your end. This is one of those locations where you should sit back, relax enjoy yourself and simmer in the atmosphere as the food takes a little bit to make. But the wait is all the worthwhile because the food is delicious; the greens were fresh and crisp, the hamburg steak was tender but didn't fall apart and the pork cutlet was delicious, with the demi-glaze sauce tying everything in together really well. Overall this trip was really enjoyable and made me enjoy my time here, despite eating solo. <3"

"Unfortunately, I didn't get the fried chicken breast I normally ordered. This chicken seemed that it came from Costco/Sam's club and was reheated; So disappointed. I was going to bring to lunch for a friend who requested it because I raved how great their fried chicken breast was, I am so glad I opened it to make sure it looks great before putting in the fridge, sadly it didn't look great."
