"We have been in GUIGLIA for over a week now and have found everyone to be friendly and accommodating with their limited English and our nonexistent Italian. I have to say that the family that owns and runs the Belvedre has been over the top making our stay as pleasurable as possible. They speak more English than most and have helped us plan our trip by pointing out places to visit and the best ways to ensure smooth sailing. We have been treated like part of their own family. Many days we will stop in and one or more of them will sit down with us and share wine and bring out food to enjoy. Speaking of food, they are passionate about organic food and preparing food in the traditional way. They make everything from pasta to cured salami themselves and and go as far to make sure the flour they use is ground in the traditional way for their breads and pasta. I don't want to get into too many details about the things they have done for us in case everyone that visits their establishment expects or demands the same treatment; . All I can say is they have made a HUGE positive impact on our time here and would be welcome in our own home anytime they wanted to visit Canada."
