"Let us eat texas is really a hidden gem in the city of kill. not only is eating amazing, but the Italian cream so are bombed. the prices are very affordable and they are for an excellent service experience. the owner, josie, meet her customers on a first name basis and it makes them really feel special. if they have not checked out this place, they are missing!"

"REAL Italian Food! I missed traditional Italian cuisine since I moved back from Italy and I didn't know that there was this wonderful piece of Italia here in Killeen. Her pasta is delicious and her pizzas are absolutely authentic and high quality. La Gondola is a visit!"

"I went here today and I had a sort of mixed feelings. The mexican food was spectacular and I loved it. But the Italian side of the restaurant isn't very good. I had a normal fettuccini alfredo with grilled chicken and the sauce was grainy but also bland. I was expecting some amazing grilled chicken but it tasted also bland. I was very disappointed in the noodles because they were undercooked and still felt hard. The menu is very big and I feel like that is whats causing the Italian side of the restaurant to not be up to par. There's literally 50 or so plates, not counting the appetizers, salads, desserts, soups, etc. Otherwise, I would 100% come back here for the mexican food."

"Ordered the steak and cheese sub.. sent my son to pick it up. They did not put the sun in the bag. Finally got the sun and it was a Mushroom sub NO steak. Don’t order this sub or stop by this location. I ask them to not put mushrooms on the sub but add green peppers! Don’t waste your time or money!"

"Update !!!! Down below is my first review for this restaurant that was based on some of thier desserts only. My opinion has not changed as far as the desserts are concern. As promised I tried other items on their menu. I ordered the Combo Specialty, which consist of lasagna, chicken parmigiana, and fettuccine alfredo. Also I ordered garlic butter rolls, raspberry tea and strawberry cheese cake for dessert. I have to say sadly I was not impressed with the meal. The entree was good not anything to brag about, on top of that the garlic rolls were little hard and the raspberry tea was bland. I must also state as with most of my reviews it's about the food only dont know if a sit down experience at the restaurant is better or not. With that I have to drop my review from 5 to 3 stars. This review is during the lunch period so maybe that was factor so next time I will try a meal during the dinner period. So to start this review off, I must say I haven't tried any of the entree on their menu, this review is only about their desserts. As I was standing around the hostess counter waiting on a delivery pickup I noticed the dessert display directly across from the counter. Inside the display I saw cheese cakes, red velvet , chocolate mousse and cream coconut cakes. So those of you who don't know I have a serious sweet tooth so I couldn't resist the temptation to try out a few of these enticing desserts I mean seriously they were calling my name. I tried the chocolate, red velvet and cream coconut cakes. I enjoyed each flavor I tried. Everything was delicious and tasted homemade, definitely a treat for my taste buds. Will be one of my go to places for dessert. Now the five stars that I gave for this review is for the the desserts only so this could change once I try an entree on their menu, until then give those cakes a try if you happen to be in the area."
