"I'd like to start by saying that I've written many, many reviews for TripAdvisor over the years and have never before felt the need to write such a negative review. My family have just returned from 10 days in the Dordogne, and as the area is obviously not an ideal holiday destination for vegans or even vegetarians (which we understood beforehand) we spent much of the time cooking for ourselves. On our way to Monpazier (where, incidentally, we ate a delightful, and impromptu, vegan dinner later in the day), we stopped off for lunch in Le Bugue and called in to Pizzeria La'Tina, armed with a "vegan passport" in French explaining what we could and couldn't eat as unfortunately we don't speak French, to ask about the possibility of a vegan pizza. While I acknowledge the right of any restaurant to determine the type of food it will or won't serve, my husband and I were totally unprepared for the aggressive and abusive response of the owner, who rudely told us that "if my grandfather hadn't eaten meat you wouldn't even be here today"! After he'd continued in this vein for quite a bit longer, my husband asked, "So, don't you want to feed us?", and when he replied (rather unnecessarily, by this stage), "No", we left straight away, feeling quite shaken by the unnecessary unpleasantness. I should be clear here that all we did was ask about the possibility of a vegan pizza - we made no comments at all that should have provoked such a verbal assault. So, not only should vegetarians and vegans be aware that this is not an approachable or vegan-friendly restaurant, but our experience also calls into question the restaurant's reputation for "customer service" that has been mentioned by many other reviewers (and that the owner seems to take such pride in), This is undoubtedly the worst restaurant (non)experience my family has ever had!"

"Shopping at the Intermarche in Le Bugue and came outside feeling hungry. I saw this little Kiosk selling Pizzas and had a look. The guy was making his own doe on site and the sign said it is made fresh every day. I ordered the Le kiosk and was told 10 mins.In this time quiet a few locals turned up to collect their orders so that was a good sign.Got the pizza and took to the place I was staying and boy what a surprise. I have eaten quite a few take away pizzas and been disappointed by all but this was one out the box so to speak. It was fantastic the base was true Italian style (there were no options for the base) The flavours and texture were magnificent slightly spicy but not to hot and it had an egg in the middle but it made sense and complimented the rest of the pizza. I would recommend you to give it a try and not waste time in the local pizzeria sit down, the food here was far better. Just buy it and go and sit by the river and enjoy and he will also sell you a bottle of wine to go with it.For a take away Pizza this was just heaven."
