"General It was Sunday, at home the kitchen remained cold. So what was closer than looking for a beer garden from our surroundings. After a long abstinence we decided to take our lunch back in the beer garden of the Maintalstuben in Mainaschaff. Due to the fact that a somewhat diffuse weather prevailed, we drove by bicycle to the restaurant. Parking in front of the restaurant is more than enough. Operation At 13.30 we stood at the entrance to the beer garden and waited for the staff to give us the entrance. A young feminine service had already seen us and came to us Cordstracks. That was a good choice from her. The calf liver was super delicate and tasty. The roast potatoes with the bowl were well suited. calf liver with roast potatoes I chose a dish from the menu, namely Tagliatelle Pfifferling with salmon, Rucola and Parmesan (14.50 €). "We stayed in an evening at the restaurant where an event was planned in the neighbouring Maintalhalle. As a result, the restaurant was fully occupied, which brought the service to its limits. Nevertheless, the conditions remained friendly, although some guests clearly showed their dissatisfaction. The ordered caprese as in the map with tomatoes, mozzarella and olive oil, but unfortunately also with the impossible favorable balsamic cream This ingredient does not belong to the court, even if we could find it good for Germans. In Italy this appetizer is seasoned only with oil, salt and pepper. We had 3 pizzas and a pasta dish from three noodles. The pizzas were luxuriously occupied with a somewhat too thick soil, so there is also a certain clientele that probably wants to have. My personal preference is rather a thin, crispy dough layer with less cover. The noodles were boiled to the point, once with Bolognese, then a cheese-sink sauce and once with a tomato sauce. The Bolognese was ok, the two other sauces with lots of cream. I don't know tomato sauce from Italy with cream, and a creamy cheese sauce with ham like Carbonara goes without cream. But I also know that many of us are so demanding. So if you want to eat Italian in Germany and don't want to experience an unloved surprise, you can come to the restaurant. But if you love the undisturbed Italian cuisine, you will be disappointed."
