"We ordered two first and a second. As for the first, small ears to the shepherd and troccoli to the rock, we asked that they were abundant, but the small ears seemed really few and also the troccoli were not many. but the real surprise (negative) was the second: well € for grilled cuttlefish! we tried to complain about the exact quantities, but we were told that the standard portions were those. judge you from the photos."

"This restaurants seats on the wrong place. It has an old-looking fancy decoration, but by the beach where people pass by in beachwear. The food was fine, but way too expensive. We’ve had better restaurants for half the price. The service was ok. But the house had no sensitivity when allocating our table. We were a couple entangled between two very large families with excited children."

"This trattoria is part and parcel of Lido Sant'Antonio (a beachfront establishment). We had lunch on one of the two terraces (the other is for dinner), looking out you have the beach and the sea of Mattinata bay, looking behind you have the parking area...which is set in an olive grove. So much for the setting.Let's get to the food. We were a group of four and ordered each the house bruschetta (a meal on its own grilled bread, cherry tomatoes, fresh and aged cheese topped off with prosciutto and arugola leaves), followed by a plate of pasta cavatelli with clams and a zucchini-flower pesto with which we shared an order of mussels. the white house wine which accompanied our meal was very good. We finished our meal with coffee and an amaro. Service was impeccable, prices were reasonable. definitely worth a return visit."

"Chanced upon La Garganica when searching for somewhere to have lunch in Mattinata and everything seemed shut up. They gave us delicious spaghetti vongole and orecchiette mattinatese with a crisp fresh green salad. Lovely simple local food with the best ingredients. Recommend v highly."
