"I don't know why someone would rate this restaurant with less than 5 stars. eating was absolutely fantastic! the atmosphere was rocky and romantic. it is a popular basis for business in the city to bring customers, etc., but is very suitable for dinner with friends or a date. the crostini misti is a not to miss court I hope they never take it from the menu. we can not wait to go back!"

"From Illinois so a Chicago hot dog is a big deal to me if it's done right. I cant talk on other hot dogs here (since I have only had the Chicago dog and fries) but the Chicago style is pretty good. It gives me my fix until I get to go back to Illinois, nothing crazy but good.The fries were really great, super crispy and salty!The only reason I gave one less star is because sometimes they arnt open when they say they are. There have been 3 different times where online it says they are open, I head over and no ones there. Other than that Its my favorite hot dog place in Milwaukee by far."

"USED to be a favorite. I used to frequent Tenuta's on a regular basis. I LOVE their sauce! As far as the pasta, I've ever had there has been outstanding. I'm not a fan of their pizza, but you can get pizza at a thousand different places. What has turned me off of this place is the owner. The last time I was at Tenuta's I brought my parents from out of town. We had a reservation for Saturday night and had to wait a bit for our table. No biggie, we just sat at the bar and ordered a drink. Fifteen minutes later the hostess comes over to tell us that our wait has been extended because the owner decided to come in with his family to eat. Ummm....what???? "The view from the patio is overlooking a lovely lake/pond in the distance. Very nice. Ordered smoked salmon off the breakfast menu. Very good and fresh. The bagel was standard, but all the other ingriedents were so good, it was fine. Wait staff was very friendly and accomidating. Perfect for breakfast."
