"It doesn’t take much to ruin a restaurant’s business<br br/>Following a friend’s suggestion, we landed last week at Pizza Pasta Bene for dinner. Great location close to the Spit Bridge, authentic Italian food and great service if it wasn’t for the unfriendly behaviour of one of the staff members. However, the lady and the young waiter and waitress were courteous and very professional.<br br/>In fact, the arrogant and bullyish manners of the senior male waiter were enough to ruin the whole dining experience we were meant to have at the occasion of a special event. First, he was clearly annoyed with a basic question regarding the type of spaghetti they serve. Second, he interfered saying “We don’t have time to teach you how to scan a QR Code” when he heard me tell the lady who run the restaurant that I didn't have access to the form to enter my contact details. Third, he got aggressive and yelled “I I'm going to throw you out of here” when I told him that these are not the right manners to treat customers with. I couldn’t even remind him that it is the restaurant's responsibility to make sure all customers are checked in for health and safety reasons.<br br/>Waitressing is not an easy job, as it requires a set of personal and professional skills. I remain curious as to why those lacking in these skills insist on stressing out customers and themselves when there are tons and tons of hanging fruits, which need to be urgently picked across the country.<br br/>I would still recommend this restaurant for its excellent pasta and tiramisu, but be sure to go when their senior male waiter is on leave. You wouldn't go to a restaurant to be bullied and intimidated, would you?<br"

"Intimate cozy place but .... Both of Our fish mains (rainbow trout special and swordfish) were overcooked quality was very disappointing. The starter also disappointing (fried zucchini). Service/staff was attentive and nice but it just didn't make up for disappointing food."

"Relaxed atmosphere. also try clifton gardens. this is one of several venues running under one dach with the same name. with simple meals and coffee the service is friendly and the prices realistic. coffee was very good. beautiful baked too. good for a meet and mama and child friendly. also try the venue in clifton gardens."

"Fourth Village....how do I love thee....let me count the ways! A wonderful cheese room filled with delicacies from around the globe, great fruit and veg bursting with freshness and colour, their own home grown olive oils, jams and bread, excellent salads and meals to take away, a thriving Tuscan style restaurant, rustic and eye-catching interiors, amazing pizza oven, Italian waiters, good bar scene, tasty gelato... Have been coming here since it opened maybe ten years ago and it is consistently good. Dropped in recently for a quick lunch and ordered whitebait, fig and gorgonzola salad with rocket, and an orecchiette pasta dish. All delicious and memorable! Love this place in the evening when they close off the Vista St entrance and turn the F&V section into an extension of the restaurant. So fun to sit amongst the rows of pasta and olive oils while you have a glass of wine and munch on a fantastic Parma prosciutto and rocket pizza. You could be back in Siena! Ciao!"

"If I want Italian food outside of pizza in Sydney, I go to my mums house or I go here. <br/ Veal is the best in Sydney, the cutlet is unbelievable, the lamb is to die for. Scampi are incredible. The handmade pastas are perfect. The wine selection incredible. The staff are a delight. <br/ Within a minute after I finish my dessert here I can’t wait to go back and start my meal all over again. <br/ The best semifreddo you will put in your mouth ever. <br/"

"Bad customer service. 1. Looking at the kid's menu to order a juice or Ice cream for the kids but the staff suddenly said "this is kid menu, look at the price!" How rude is this? He treated me like a person who does not even know kid menu or deliberately order kid menu to save money or something. 2. This rudeness happened again at the counter when I pay for the table. The male staff did not say thanks. Only word from his arrogant mouse is "pay pass?" He did not mention how much the table was, instead he just showed me the receipt. Then when I finish paying and say thanks to him but he ignored me with grumpy face. This is not only one experience happened at one particular day. I am just telling you one example. The staff, espacially male staff, they have attutude problem and dont know how to treat their customers. Their coffee is good but not to overcome their poor service. Maybe I can still use them only to get a takeaway coffee. Foods are just average. So big NO from me."

"Have visited for brunch, lunch and afternoon drinks at different times and haven't had a bad experience yet. Food is lovely, staff are great and the setting it's fabulous. Great opportunity to do a walk to Cremorne Point, enjoy the view of the harbour then return to the Rowers for a well earned refreshment."
