"My husband and I were looking for a quick bite to eat, over in this area. I saw that this place had fish, which I love, and burgers, which he loves. But unfortunately it wasn't that good at all. I ordered fish and chips, and a burger to go. It only took about 15 minutes from the time I placed our order online until we got there and I will say that service was friendly, but we did have to wait about 5 minutes before someone noticed us. Once we told them why we were there, it didn't take long to get our food. As for the food, that's where I get disappointed. The fries had no salt on them at all and of course we didn't have any with us. But I understand why they don't salt the fries, not everyone like salt and they have salt on their tables. The fish was covered in a bland, no flavor at all batter. It reminded me of funnel cake batter, but without any vanilla. Just tasted like oil. It would have been nice if they made their own batter or at least added some seasoning to the batter they use. I will say that the fish didn't have a fishy flavor and it was cooked well. Which is a plus. As for the burger and fries my husband got. The burger was over cooked and was a lot smaller than expected. It was edible, but definitely not something he would ever buy again. We may try this place again if over that way, but only because I really want to try their crab cakes. I wish that I could order just a crab cake instead of the full dinner. But using their website to order, that was not an option. I will also add that adding extra items like lemon or mayo to my order wasn't an option. It would be nice if they had either a comment section or an add on section. But that's just me nit picking. All in all, I doubt we will be returning to this place any time soon, but I can't say that I will never return. "Screwed up the pizza a couple of weeks ago. Went back today and showed them the photo of the pizza (definitely lacking the toppings that were on the menu) and they said it was nothing they made. I think that I should know where I bought it last time. That's not exactly what I call customer service."
