"This was a nice experience. The restaurant was busy and it had a nice ambience—relaxing and casual. We shared the Margherita pizza and Mediterranean salad. Both were delicious. The Augustiner beer was great too. The waiter, who spoke enough English, was no nonsense, all business....This was fine and we enjoyed ourselves."

"Great Italian food - aiming at high-class, special dishes. The service was very attentive and friendly. Only the "Kitsch" decoration with the wall paintings is a bit disturbing."

"Answering the question: “Where is the best pizza in Munich?” has now led us to the L’ Angolo at the Ostbahnhof. One way forward: Without reservation, GAR is NOT to be made. Especially on Mondays. That day is pizza day. And then there is the one at the spot price. And now the main thing: L’ Angolo is far ahead. The pizza is huge. Around the 40 cm diameter. The pizza comes from the stone oven. The dough is pink and not too thick. Instead of emmentalers, they use buffalo mozzarella, which gives the pizza a very special spicy aroma. Really sensational. But now enough of praise – otherwise it will be fuller!!"

"The Lindengarten is one of the most inconspicuous Italian restaurant, but it actually has. It not only serves delicious pizza and pasta dishes, but also excellent meat and fish dishes. The wine offer is also very diverse. The service is very friendly and accommodating. Prices are rather in the middle to upper level, but quality is quite justified. The restaurant is located in Laim by public transport."

"I feel bad to give such a bad mark to this restaurant with respect to the high standard of the Tripadvisor rating but unfortunately it seems quite fair. We went for diner in this place last night and had a pretty disappointing evening in terms...of culinary experience. We booked and arrived at First observation is that despite some earlier comments you are not in a an intimate setting. The place was packed and despite the nice organization of tables you could feel rather close to people. We had the compulsory surprise menu which is fine by us but the surprise felt increasingly bitter as the evening extended. We began with a pedestrian dish of endives and speck, followed with a tomato salad with mushrooms and a cappuccino packed with truffle oil. Overall the first three dished not only tasted rather bland but were actually of bad conception and quality. After this surprisingly bad introduction we were astonished to see that the expected high standard would never be reached during our evening. Followed a disgraceful pasta dish with what looked like spinach but with extremely hard stems and meatballs with little bones inside! Fifth dish was our favorite of the evening, a small portion of gnocchi with mushroom sauce that tasted actually very good. Sixth dish was a fish dish, probably the second best part of the dinner. The fish was delicious, well cooked, crispy and well seasoned but unfortunately served with a red-wine sauce... insanely inharmonious. The seventh dish was a traditional Bavarian classic, a deer medallion with red cabbage, celery dumpling and black spätzl. Actually kind of ok but this was extremely heavy and not very much welcome at this point of the dinner. The last dish was a pannacota dessert with mango cubes and an overly sweet ice-cream. Pretty dreadful if you want my opinion. We had a bottle of red wine which was picked by the waitress and was kind of ok until we saw the price. Let's talk about the price, we were two and had the menu plus one bottle of wine and we paid over That is outrageous regarding the quality of the meal. Basically you can go to Dallmayr with the same amount of money and get a Michelin star menu (not that I am a Michelin star addict but still that gives you perspective). Now a few more things about the entire evening, it took us hours to get all dishes. Generally it is not an issue but in that case we had to cancel our concert because between some dishes you had to wait minutes which is fairly ok and sometimes almost minutes... Service was really good though, the waitress very nice and the chef came to see us several times to explain the dishes. We had a great evening because we were happy to catch up but definitely not because we had a good culinary experience. I would like to give it a go another time but I am afraid the disappointment was such that I will likely never try again... Your call."
