"Nothing against daiya, but it was a breath of fresh air to have a good pizza with a vegan cheese that was not daiya. the owner is very friendly and very courteous and has a large collection of veggies to choose as well."

"This mom and pop pizza place is great. Pure good moods as soon as I entered the Peppy hostess and even the customers out on their way home smiled at me. Filippi's has a very clean, clean and well decorated style. The pizza tastes homemade with high-quality ingredients from someone who knows what they do, verses a chain company. I definitely come back to try more items on the menu, especially their desserts."

"This place was fine. Made an order for breakfast. We have a burger with onion rings and an Italian omelet. The burger was a 7/10, but these onion rings were actually perfect. Honestly, if I had just ordered the onion ring, I would have given 5/5. They were crispy and crispy and not too much bread, and you could still taste the onion in there. 10/10 for the rings. but there was more. The other thing we ordered was the Omelet with potatoes. Nothing wrong with the potatoes, they were seasoned and well cooked 8/10. On the other hand, that Omelet was not beautiful at all... Sausages were dry and seasoned, the cheese under it was gritty and tasteless, the tomato sauce on the egg was strange, and the American cheese to top it was just so out of place. So the egg seemed to be good first. My fist bite was small, tasted like an egg I would cook at home. My second bite was a bit bigger, thought to me, 'that could use some salt and pepper' then I took another bite. *Crunch * I bit in an eggshell... I'm just a 28-year-old man, not the oldest or wisest, but I never have an egg in a restaurant in my life. Surely the place had people in it, but it wasn't the busiest restaurant in the world, or California, or even in Poway. I stabbed on a large piece of egg shell. Instantan was filled with grits. It was almost as if I put the face first on the beach, someone screamed at me!! I'm trying to suck as much sand as possible. The feeling was terrible! If you're ever stuck in eggshells, you know it's hard to get everything out of your mouth. I tried and tried. But for my life, I just couldn't get it out. I washed my mouth with water, but when I came back to finish my potatoes... *CRUNCH CRUNCH* I think I'll get back from the order all egg related from any restaurant because of this. Great disappointment. The toast was pretty good. I'd give him a 2.6/5. So lean on 3/5, that's what I gave"

"I made reservations on line. It asked on the form if it was a special dinner. I wrote and said it was our 52 wedding anniversary that very day. I made the reservation for 5pm because it is always so noisy from the bar area. The dinner was fine and service good. We have eaten there many times. I actually thought they would bring a dessert we could share since it was a special day for us. We were not offered a dessert or even a happy anniversary comment. I mentioned to the female at the door about the day being our anniversary 2-24 GALLO and she said she would ask the waiter to bring us a dessert. I told her it was to late. I have recommended the place but also tell people about the loudness of the area. Always to loud. Suggest you carpet the place."

"We had exceptional service and food this evening Despite a hiccup in one of our orders not their fault the staff hopped to and went above and beyond to get it all going great .... "Sal and Oliver were great! We had the artichoke remover (Garlic!, the Italian salad (many good things) and the creamy Gorgonzola gnocchi with walnuts. Good size shares in the latter two dishes. We ate on the terrace, and the fresh air was wonderful."

"Great awesome, best experience I had. Over the years dominoes has her pizza game so much so that I can't think of another place I'd rather order pizza. The delivery was fast, and the pizza was hot freshly pissed! Not to admit, one of the highlights of my week."
