"Not sure how overall ratings are low but I had amazing time here which led me to visit this place twice in 3 days. First of all, ambiance is very relaxing which helps in easing in. Special mention to the staff who are delight to interact and very courteous. Coming to food, their house bread and dip combination is killing it. Apart from this, we've had Babycorn fingers which was served with balsamic vinegar dip...yum.....Thai red curry with rice, again a marvelous dish and Aubergine Parmigiana....good one. "With mixed bag of reviews I went in this place to satiate my pasta pangs. I wasn't impressed much. Tried two pastas to see if I was judging it on only one padta but both turned out average. <br>

It has a feeling of an old Italian restaurant and you can see the chef cooking. The restaurant looks quite appealing although the taste doesn't match the appeal for pasta. Aglio olio and macroni Mediterranean both fell short to achieve the level of taste they should have.<br>

"It was our last night in Pondi and very hesitantly went to Satsang for a dinner and it proved to be not so good experience. Keeping a fancy name and lot of french names in the menu does not make a restaurant excellent one. Other than the ambiance nothing was there to boast upon. Not recommended as there are much more better cafes and restaurants around. Location: It is in the Labourdonnais Street in White Town area of the city and quite close to the beach. "The location is on bussy road near the beach, so tourist magnets. the reception was friendly and welcoming, the herr takin order was friendly and friendly to recommend the house. the fish that he recommended as a fresh catch was in fact as promised. the French twill was delicious and the hot coriander soup was hot as expected, super. the winner was the American corn-Greek salate, loved it. the seafood noodles were moderate, which can get a slut. pasta was okay. a thing to perfectly improve five is the cleanliness of cutlery and teller. another big discount and a little surprising thing was not acquitting cards, only cash/gpay, this was strange in the tourist area and trying to save card transaction fees on a comfortable margin. "At first it's a big yes to this place. Really the person who is taking the order is very courteous and there is only a lady doing pastas. You need patience but the food is worth the wait. Menu is just limited they serve only pastas and few beverages. We had chicken Alfredo and iced lemon tea. Pasta was really really good, I would say best one I had in Pondy, Lot better than expensive restaurants around. I would really go to this place again and again. Keep in mind patience is the key for good food here."
