"Had a lovely coffee and Apfelstrudel Eis Sahne in the restaurant with some friends. The staff were very pleasant. But when it came to pay the bill , it was not good being told that they do not except credit card payments. Which was very embarrassing when we had to borrow currency off our friends to pay the bill. It should have been disclosed before you order your food. This was because we had spent all of our money at the Christmas market in the town."

".We didn't get round to eating as the service was so poor. We arrived to darkness some lights were turned on when we arrived. After quite a while a waitress came to take drink orders for four. After taking two of our choices she scuttled off back behind the bar to pour a drink for someone who had just arrived. When asked if we could order drinks for the other two people the waitress was quite rude so we left."

"We went for a long walk today and came across this very lovely restaurant. We were warmly greeted and shown to a lovely table overlooking the hills. There was not even a batting of an eye by staff as we had a back pack and...dressed for hiking. Our meal was exquisite as I started with a delicious venison consommé followed by seasonal roast goose with dumplings and red cabbage. My partner in crime started with a cream of pumpkin soup followed by a very delicious maultasschen A very high standard of service was shown to us and a very beautiful space for lunch as well If you are out hiking stop by you will not be disappointed"

"Prices are OK but the food is a bit articicial. Pizzas are somehow adapted to the local taste and it all loses it's italian authenticity... But it is still OK for the money you pay and service is very quick at lunch time what is...appreciated."

So, if you visit Ristorante Pizzeria La Romantica, I hope you find this review to be accurate and helpful. My wife and I found Pizzeria La Romantica to be a very warm and pleasant experience. In the best good restaurant tradition, our experience was an exceptional one. Not only were we invited to dine, but we were encouraged to relax and enjoy our meal at Ristorante Pizzeria La Romantica. When did this last happened to you?The restaurant is located up a side street just off the main street, which runs along the Rhine River. We were actually looking for a German restaurant when we found this one. We were on a Rhine River Cruise and were docked not far away. Because a very heavy rain had flooded much of Rudesheim, many stores and restaurants had simply closed.Ristorante Pizzeria La Romantica was a surprise find while we were wandering around Rudesheim looking for the German restaurant. After looking at the restaurant menu, as we always do, my wife and I decided we had found our dining spot for the evening. And . . . what a special find it was. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was very warm warm and helpful. In my opinion, you do yourself a great service by finding and enjoying and meal at Ristorante Pizzeria La Romantica if you are in Rudesheim. I wish you the same experience my wife and I were very pleased to enjoy. If you have time, call or stop by and make a reservation. Introduce yourself and say that you were referred.
