"It was peak dinning time on a Saturday night. We walked up after shopping and were told the wait was hours, I consulted Open Table and got and booked reservations in minutes. We were seated minutes later than our reservation which was good in my mind. The restaurant had sent a text when our table was ready apparently forgetting where they had told us to sit to wait out of the draft of the door. So monitor your cell phone. Server was polite enough but inexperienced in my mind. Menu had been simplified since our last time here. Our party of ordered a pizza, spaghetti and meatballs, chicken and peppers and salmon. Drinks came soon enough and we ordered right away as one of our party had to leave for work in an hour which we conveyed to the waiter. After that we were pretty much left to ourselves until the food came. Water glasses went unfiled and it was difficult at best to get the attention of the waiter. We used one of the bus boys to get our waiter and bill when we wanted to leave. Our order of flatbread ordered as an appetizer came at the end of the meal after half our party had left. Quality of the food was average for a venue of this type. It is one of the better venues to eat at when close to the Tacoma Mall and one of the few to use Open Table in the area. In the future we will consider other options"

"The service is wonderful, a FANTASTIC way to turn around my morning. My partner and I had our very enthusiastic dog with us and they let us watch him from patio seating. I was charmed by our server who did an excellent job of showcasing the specials and locally roasted coffee (which I am boujee about, so that was pretty cool). The quinoa cakes were bomb, and the atmosphere is inclusive and still high-end. Big time win for Tacoma!!"

"Food is fresh and delicious. Service was outstanding. We got the bruschetta la Blanca, the hippie veggie sliders and the turkey chutney salad. They were refreshing and perfect for a hot summer day. We, of course, ended our meal with their scrumptious frozen yogurt."

"Had a 3:30 pm reservation. No wait time to be seated and they were pretty empty. Great food, great service and great atmosphere. I highly recommend the Land and Sea it was so good. Always a fun experience. By the time we last 6:30pm the place was packed."
