"A must-restaurant in taichung! also people who are not vegan will still enjoy this place. Italian food is incredible. I recommend the spinach and cheese battalion, the splendor and tomatenspaghetti and all desserts. they have gluten-free and nut-free options. the service and the atmosphere are also great."

"They have: everything is vegan. also these fried sommes? the risotto? the queensadillas? these delicious slices of mont blanc and tiramisu? yes, yes, yes, and yes! the appetizers are so much fun, and so are the desserts. the strange thing is that they have to pay separately for each order round. if for example they do not know which cake they want when ordering the apps and entrées, they must pay for the latter first and then come back to order and pay for the former. I am not sure why. if you flash your plants fan VIP card on a weekday and spend at least NT$500 for a single payment/order, they get 10% discount on their bill."

"I didn't feel hungry enough to order a full set, so I decided only for the spicy kitsune udon noodle soup on my own (NT$170). And yet it still came with a small side of dried bean curd, my selection of drinks (almond tea, winter melon tea, or black tea), and black tofu pudding. What a great thing! The noodles are handmade and have more bites than packed. They sell them so you cook at home. In addition, they make other items like steamed rolls NT$30 each) in different flavors. The only ovo-vegetarian entree is the salad (option 2), and if you do not add the onsenei, your noodles will be vegan. Regarding the pages, the egg tofu (option 1), roasted cheese rolls (option 3) and tomato cups (option 11) are ovo- and lacto-vegetarian. The Italian eggplant (option 12) is cooked in the same oil as eggs if you want to control it clearly. It is not super authentic Japanese Udon, but I assume the aromas and the feeling of the place makes for it. Updated by previous review on 2019-11"
