"What a beautiful place! we escaped london for a night of peace and rest, and st leonards was not disappointed. perfectly positioned for a walk around the french of west malling, this is the ideal weekend trip. the room was spacious and yet cozy, and we loved the addition of the bath. the breakfast was included and as delicious as we hoped and I was happy to see that she had gluten-free bread as option. Top tip get a hot chocolate from the bar to take to her room at the end of the day!"

"If you try phoning either of the numbers and don't get an answer don't make the mistake I did and drive to the location(s) hoping that you'll be able to get a pizza made while you wait. If they are not answering the phone...it's because they are inundated with orders and you'll need to wait to hours if you turn up at the van. Apparently those in the know realise that this is the way it works. The pizzas have been good on previous successful visits and it's great to see a busy business, but a putting a message on their phone (or just answering it) to explain the wait time would be not be an unreasonable customer courtesy."

"Visited with friends, reviews good online were good. Car park very small and not easy to find, expected better signage. Service was very good. Starters were very good, maybe slightly too big but very tasty. Pizzas were good, but the seafood linguine was made with pesto and was too stoggy. The prawns needed some attention by the customer. Disappointed."

"New owners with a new concept. Slightly tatty round the edges but totally first class Italian food and really excellent and friendly service. This seems like a small family business and they try really hard to make you happy and well fed. The specials are excellent. Decent wine. Definitely going again."

"My second visit to the restaurant at the catering college. Wonderful food. I had haddock fish cake with a soft boiled egg pork fillet in a superb sauce with parmentier potatoes and then lemon posset. Fantastic and great service from enthusiastic trainees. Good wine at a reasonable price."

"We went for their Sunday roast dinner menu early this evening and were very happy: food was good (beef, pork and lamb were all very nice, Yorkshire puds were excellent), servings were generous, and it was excellent value for money at £20 for 3 courses (10£ for kid's 3 course). Staff were also very friendly. Will be back."
