"This restaurant is outstanding! Located within the heart of the Restaurant Meca of Napa Valley, you can 't ask for better value. The quality of ingredients, casual ambiance, rooftop terrace, use of local purveyors, customer service and variety of menu, are few of the reason why I give this Restaurant high remarks. It is highly attractive that the menu changes daily based on local and in season ingredients. Though Latin, you can find Italian, Thai, Mexican, sandwiches, soups, salads, and YES Puerto Rican dishes highly hard to find in the Bay Area, not to say in Napa Valley! Chef Anita Cartagena elevates Puerto Rican cuisine merging local ingredients with the authentic Puerto Rican seasoning. As a transplant from Puerto Rico in Napa Valley I can tell this is food from the heart, the seasoning that brings back childhood memories! My husband had Chillo Frito, whole fried red snapper marinated in Puerto Rican Mojo served with rice and braised White bean, green plaintains (tostones) avocado mousse, spicy tomato sauce, and a green salad. I had mofongo relleno filled with Puerto Rican style ground beef, and the taco carnitas. Everything was absolutely awesome! I highly recommend the Restaurant. If you haven 't try Puerto Rican food before, you should pay a visit to Protea Restaurant!"

"Ok, this place is nice. The Negroni were great. You are paying Napa prices for pasta. I mean 27 30 dollars. I can get a good steak dinner for this price, but we are in Ciccio the Italian experience is worth it right ? We are waiting in anticipation, my wife and I got two different pasta dishes as so we can try the varying dishes. The staff is working very hard, The anticipation building and here comes our dish. A small soup bowl of pasta for our meal. I think I could have counted the pasta noodles I am not kidding I could have counted it. I mean how expensive is pasta in Napa ? My wife immediately read me. I tried to make the best not to ruin the night. We even tried to share each other dishes, but really just one scoop practically emptied the dish. The food was tasty, the experience lacking. Next to me was another couple and they also had the same dish. The large gentlemen had four scoops of pasta and the dish was basically gone. I wonder if I could have counted the pasta noodle and have done the division to determine the cost of each noodle. Ciccio, if you are going to charge.. then charge.. but make the meal worthy of the charge. People dont mind paying. Buy bigger pasta bowls and people will come,"

(Only the best chefs can add taste and yet keep things illuminated ambiance (live and intimate all in one... What's that? You did it! Throw in a specially made meal by allergies with never a complaint just a worry when it was enjoyed. Thank you for making our night in something to remember!"

"My husband John took me to Bottega for our 37th Anniversary! The food and wine was exceptional! The wine list is extensive with many choices! Each dish at Bottega is individually prepared fresh with many layers of flavors! We loved the pastas and el pollo dish! The gelato and chocolates were divine!
