"Regardless of the menu quality this restaurant refuses to serve the excellent quality Swiss water and insists on charging an astronomical amount to filter tap water again it’s cheaper to drink beer! Such a let down and clearly represents the miserly attitude of the...management."

"This is a MUST while in Zermatt! We had such an amazing experience that we went two days in a row! To start off, the location is perfect and the atmosphere is so cozy and quaint. You will immediately feel comfortable. The owners, Nadine and Robi were right there to greet us as we arrived and of course they provided outstanding service!Furthermore, this is a true "farm to table" restaurant. Everything on the menu is either from Nadine and Robi's farm or Robi has been out hunting. This is a prime example of "all natural and organic." The quality is out of this world and cooked to perfection! We love red wine and their wine list was superb with Robi providing great recommendations. We felt so comfortable and had such a great time we didn't want to leave. Hopefully we will be back sooner then later!"

"At first, I was a little intimidated by the fanciness of this restaurant especially since I wanted to dine alone. But wow I had a fantastic time at this restaurant. Giovanni served me and made me feel incredibly welcome. I had a glass of Italian red wine and a fantastic pizza, followed by their homemade tiramisu. There are so many tourist traps in Zermatt but I feel very strongly that this restaurant is not one of those. There seems to be a real passion for Italian cuisine here...I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and will be back."

"We used TripAdvisor for recommendations and it has not failed us. We called at 6 pm to try to get a table - was told only bar seating is available. We said yes of course little did we know that it's the best bar seating ever, cosy and comfortable. I had a spaghetti with peperocino and garlic - it's the best!"

"We enjoyed a relaxing and satisfying Italian dinner here in July 2017. Selections included pastas and some unique pizzas. Portions were fair and quality very good. Sit outside if weather permits as Matterhorn views are great. Friendly and attentive staff"

"The food was average, I had a generous portion of wienerschnitzel but it lacked the extra. The French fries were salted ok but vegetables dull. The other dish was grilled chicken fillet. Dry and the same story here regarding fries and veggies. I experienced good...service. The waiters were very busy and ran like ferrets, but they still managed to get out orders and bills quickly. "This place was excellent! The food is very authentic Italian and it's very homey and quaint!We ordered a pizza and vodka pasta (very very tasty!!!) as well as some wine, strawberry ice cream and the best tiramisu I've ever had ( and my husband has relatives all over ITALY). The tiramisu was an excellent blend of alcohol and coffee and creamy! yum!) plus ended with a limoncello on the house!would definitely return here again."

"One of the best meals on our Swiss vacation!A small restaurant which is only open for dinner in a central location just off the main street.We were greeted right away for our reservation and service was prompt and attentive on a fairly busy night. The owner came by several times to make sure we were happy.They offered a small amuse- bouche from the kitchen - a tomato bruschetta.We split a mixed salad that was a good size for both of us to share. I had the pasta trio and my wife had the ravioli and gnocchi pomodoro. Both portions were large enough that we had no room for dessert. With two glasses of wine, our total came to CHF 76 or $80 US. Very reasonable.Menu seems to be mostly southern Italian and there are items that would appeal to children. Highly recommended."
