"So it is our first night in Lisbon with my wife and a musician recommended Casa de Linhares; but this restaurant and club de Fado were full and as we walked we discovered Restaurant do Fado....what a bad luck! The only waiter who was also... the owner; first tried to sell us a bottle of wine for 40 euros, but we just wanted a few glasses and he said is only from the bottle and they had only one more for 30 euros; Okay, it's our first night all right. We ordered the specialty; Cod; But he tried to sell us two dishes; we only wanted to share 1; he said in this restaurant minimum consumption is 50 euros. Because of music; Ok I sad 30 the bottle of wine and 23 the cables there you have... We waited for over 2 hours....the guy served EVERYONE in the restaurant, but we and he came back and said after an hour: "He forgot our order", but he wanted to use the kitchen for it; we then canceled the order. We had to pay 1 bread for 3 euros that we didn't order. 2.- Green beans, olives and mussels for 6 euros That we did not order. 3.-Music or Fado 5 Euro x 2= 10 Euro 4.-Bottle of the red Almokreve 30 Euro 49 Euro and we did not even eat!! The musicians were all part of the restaurant crew; the music was like a garage band of screaming students and the wine sold for 3 euros the bottle. It's a break for tourists! I can't warn you enough not to be near this restaurant. The place was full of a German tour, which were of course brought there by a collated tourman! What a way to ruin our night...."
