"Somky's Concession is part if the Foxgardin group and 3 after the owners dad who had an auction house with a concession stand in this building years ago. It has a great garden/patio area that often had live music in the warmer months. The building with exposed brick and original floors is very charming. It has unique decor that is similar to other Foxgardin restaurants. Order barbecue; pulled pork, ribs, pulled pork nachos. All delish. Well know for the fried chicken and you cant go wring with their collard greens, cornbread and Smokeys fries! The service is friendly and helpful. They do a great job with getting the food out fast. Especially considering the distance from the kitchen. ALWAYS get pie for dessert at any of the Foxgardin restaurants. They are made with love! By Jane, the chefs mother.
