"My Family is new to the area, and were advised to check this place out. We loved the shrimp appetizer and warn bread. My teens were super happy with the Cajun Burgers and I loved the Glazed Salmon. Our server was super attentive and gave great service. We left very full and satisfied."

"Abuelo’s Mexican Restaurant in Lubbock was great! I’ve been waiting to visit and was bummed when the College Station location closed. I finally was able to go. I went with the Mexican Stack with had a crispy tortilla and I’d get it again. The queso is also good. There’s a lot I want to try and I’d get drinks next time."

"Nothing says come in, we're glad you're here, just like the hostess who rolls her eyes when we arrived on Saturday at 9:00. And the whole dining room had put ALL the chairs on the tables because they obviously did not hope for customers? They then make the same to the high tips in the bar area. The only saving grace was our server Kaitlyn. She gave us an excellent service. I know it can be slow at this time, but there is certainly the mood that you just don't want to be late customers, even with a full hour open."

"Absolutely amazing food!! Fresh as it could possibly be with flavor packed into every bite. Do I dare say it’s even better than homemade! Their sauces seemed to be made on the spot. They are so delicious. We had some chips with queso and fresh guacamole and the guacamole was even better than the kind I’m used to making with spices and lime juice. Very very good! My friend had a burrito and I had the fish tacos. Now take in mind... I’m a fish taco connoisseur. I’ve had fish tacos all over from Mexico to San Diego and these were some of the best if not THE BEST. I’m very excited to return to this restaurant when I fly back to Kansas City to visit my friend. He’s a very picky eater and he knew I would love this place. He was right. My friend’s burrito was just as good as the fish tacos. The rice and beans were very good as well, although I wish the tacos came with refried beans and not the big bulky beans they served."
