"That's not your averageburger. Do not expect to drink an amazing side of Fritten or a huge fountain, because this is not about it. It's about the burger. Single or double party, either you will fill and leave you satisfied. Quality is nothing but homemade, fresh, delicious. The rolls are soft, the bacon is CRISPY, and the toppings are packed with heat and taste. The Picante Burger is booming with taste! I recommend adding some tomatoes and salad, and that is to die. I drive half an hour from Dallas to get this burger every other weekend. And get the Rattlesnake egg! It is an egg roll with meat, cheese and jalapeno, and it is absolutely delicious. You have arcade games that are also free, and super nostalgic!"

"Service was great. Clean restaurant. Food was awesome! Thank you!!Not able to eat on this visit. My husband is having dental work done and requires grilled fish, it's all he can chew. Today the grill was out of order... man, I sure did need a Seafood Platter today..."

"This was our first time eating at Captain D's, and it was a great experience.PROS: There were only 3 people on staff, But they were exceedingly helpful and helped us decide on our meals. These are probably some of the most friendly, and proffessional young adults we've seen in a long time.The jalapeno poppers were awesome, the battered fish was good, as was the salmon and baked potato.CONS: the only real downsides were the corn on the cob (kind of hard to not overcook corn on the cob, in a fast food restaurant) it was mushy. The hush puppies were OK and the chicken tenders were dry (which one of the cooks noticed, and replaced, without us even mentioning it).Secondly, the men's restroom was out of order and the remaining ladies restroom was a bit dirty (no hand towels in the dispenser, just a roll placed on the back of the toilet!)OVERALL : Most of the food was good and we can steer clear of what we didn't prefer. In the end, it was the friendly, and professional, staff that makes this a stand out place. Well done!"
