"Food was pretty good. The burger patty was the thinnest I 've ever seen anywhere, and the fries were cold. BUT the flavors of the burger were really good my partner assured me. I ordered the fish and shrimp basket. The fried food was hot and crispy. The tartar sauce had no flavor at all, and they don 't have Tabasco or cholulu for the fish. Instead, you can buy a bottle of their hot sauce. The onion rings were huge and also really good. I 'm glad I tried it, but I have no immediate plans to come back."

"Just wish there were more stars to give!Passing by as the closed sign was being hung the other week and decided to see if maybe we 'd get lucky. The friendly owners very kindly let us order some brisket and ribs and I will be forever grateful because we were served some of the best bbq in the state, no doubt!The brisket was tender and juicy with a perfect, smoky bark and the ribs were meaty and absolutely delicious.The sauce wasn 't needed at all, but it was unique and one of the best I have had, nonetheless.I have eaten at most of the heavy hitters, like Blacks, Burnt Bean, Snow 's, Coopers, City Market, B and B, etc, and I have been a bbq judge at the SA Rodeo for several years, so I have been lucky to enjoy some incredible plates from the pits, but THIS barbecue is top-tier!! And please keep in mind that this initial visit was at the end of the day, when most bbq is past its prime. Wow.That was on a Thursday, I almost went back on Saturday to stock up, knowing that they are closed Sunday-Tuesday, lol! Fast forward a week and I went and picked some up to celebrate the end of the school year. This time I made sure to get a lb of each! When we got home, we ate standing in the kitchen like ravening animals. My daughter is a bbq enthusiast herself and she practically shouted this is the BEST barbeque ever! , so happy we now have a spot; even with a ~40 min drive, we will be regular, life-long customers.I hesitated just a little writing this review, because when this spot gets *discovered* we 're gonna have to bring lawn chairs to wait in the line!!"
