"First, how can you pass a place called Fat Cow BBQ? Second this place proves you can find authentic barbecue in a strip shopping center. The food was great but that's not what is special about this place, there's a lot of places that have great food. What is special is you can tell there's a love for barbecue, they love talking about it, they love sharing it with people, is the kind place where they're so proud of what they do their happiness is in the fact that they get to share it with you. Make sure you try the jalapeno sausage and the red onion potato salad. Most importantly if you happen to be there on one of those rare special days when they have cherry jubilee cookies, steady yourself, it may be one of the best cookies I've ever had in my life. You will hate yourself if you don't try it, and of course you will end up taking more home with you. This is an absolutely delightful little place where you can really feel the love for q!"

"Brisket sandwich on Texas toast was actually pulled pork. Yes I know the difference to the owners. Very little meat and stale white plain bread. No special sauce . Do not recommend. What a big disappointment. Friendly service to order was theonly plus. 3 guys who ordered after me rec 'd their meals first. Yes I noticed."

"I enjoyed Old House. It was authentic TX BBQ with good flavor. I had the 2 meat sandwich special w/2 sides. I also added 3 pork ribs and had green beans and Caesar salad for my 2 sides. My favorite meats were the 1) pork ribs followed by the 2)jalapeno sausage. The 2 meats I selected for my sandwich were brisket and jalapeno sausage. The brisket was just OK. Not muchof a bark or smoke/seasoning flavor as I prefer for a craft BBQ brisket. It seems they maybe rushed the cook a bit and didn 'tfollow the tried and true low slow 225 method? Or give it much rub? But it was still legit and worth checking out! Theyhad 3 different kinds of sauce to try if you wanted. Regular, spicy and smoky. I 'm not a huge sauce guy but I still like tocheck it all out. They were good but honestly, I could not taste much difference between them. They also had a nice condimentstation with all of the typical accoutrements which is good! I always like to have some white onions with my Q and a fewjalapenos and pickles are always nice too! As for the sides, the green beans were good but just very standard canned and heatedvariety. The Cesar salad was excellent!! It had what tasted like a home-made dressing and was surprisingly good for a BBQjoint! They also had beef ribs on the day I went but I did not try any. The counter guy told me they didn 't always have themso maybe should have given those a try? There 's always Next time! I 'll be back to check them out again!"

"Not sure why this place has as many stars as it does or why a reviewer stated that they’re the “Best donuts in Denton County hands down.” ? I’d prefer my glazed donuts light and fluffy and without an inexplicable aftertaste. And the shop’s exterior/interior could use some elbow grease and some fresh paint. I wanted to like this place based on the reviews but there’s plenty of donut shops within a 10-mile radius that deserve a try before I reconsider going back. I’m always willing to give businesses a second (and maybe a third) chance. I wonder if their location is a factor. But see for yourself and give them an honest review. Thanks for reading! ?"

"Best pretzels ever! Cinnamon full pretzel or the bites, can't go wrong. Hot and fresh and loaded with cinnamon sugar, keep it up guys! Also, best lemonade as it is actually fresh squeezed lemonade. One thing this mall is still worth stopping in for."
