"This place was charming. It's a building with a lot of character. They have zoodles, so people that have gluten allergies can eat and enjoy Italian Cuisine. There is a $2 upcharge to get cheese baked on top of your food. This charge is ABSOLUTELY worth it! The lasagna, chicken alfreado, and piccata were wonderful. However... The chicken marsala which was my husband's dish was awful. I'm not sure if the wine they used was bad or what. But, everything else was great. I reccomend asking your server for the lemon basil sauce to dip your bread in. It's wonderful!"

"Came here for a business lunch. Ordered the Super Spud and it was super! Food flavor and temperature were good. Speed of service was excellent. Definitely recommend for good BBQ."

"Such a great experience! We came at 7:00 on a Saturday night. It was very busy, but we sat in about 15 minutes. Server was very nice and inclined to our needs (refills on drinks, additional napkins, etc.). The food was fantastic. Great prices, large portion sizes."

"It took us years of living here for us to visit Jalapeno Tree. My husband is never a fan of Mexican food, but I finally convinced him to try this place and he found a steak to love while I got my Tex Mex fix"

"If they'd let me live here, I would. I'd be broke as big as a house, but I'd be soooooo happy. The pupusas are out of this world, whether you go with the basic plain cheese or go a little more adventurous with the spinach, pork, and cheese or anything in between. They also have some pretty fantastic stuffed jalapeños and their curtido is so flavorful. The staff is very friendly and attentive, but if they had a drive-thru, I'd stop by every day on my way home. I see on Facebook that they have a breakfast menu, but I never see them open on my way to work. It's probably for the best. I'd be in trouble."

"Great staff and great food! They were very welcoming and happy to serve us. Didn't try to hurry or push us out of the door. All their sandwiches are hot, fresh and delicious! Her baked potatoes are also HUGE! Very recommended!"

"I was expecting a food truck after reading about this place on Texas Monthly, but it is a standalone building.I had the brisket, sausage, and Mac and cheese. The wife had the loaded spud with sausage. Excellent food. Wonderful taste. Brisket was moist and smokey. Would have preferred a little more spice (bark), but each BBQ place has their own way of doing things. Mac and cheese was better than most BBQ places I've been. Didn't taste like it came straight from a box. Actually had some flavor.Small little place, but bring a big appetite!"

"Sandwhich was very good. It was toasty, which made it surprisingly warm and crunchy! The place is still new. Smells like paint. Maybe not yet finished being decorated, it's simple. I enjoyed the alternative rock music they had playing. However, I felt it was too loud. Ultimately, I was there for the food. It was very good. The best sandwhich I've ever had in town good. But, also, the meal was more expensive than I would have liked. The price is what will be keeping me back from visiting regurally. This place is a nice treat."
