"Our family visited this Dumpling Bar for lunch. On a Monday in school holidays we easily got a table. There are long share tables as well as a long bench under the window. The restaurant is part of the Royal Albert Hotel and you can bring drinks from the bar - we had the organic Tasmanian cider. The waiter was friendly and attentive. We ordered a selection of dumplings, as well as the salt and pepper squid (dish of the day!!) and chilli and prawn spring rolls. The food was fresh and tasty and came out quickly. Make sure you save room for desert. We had mystery desert dumplings which consisted of 6 different ice cream flavour dumplings - vanilla bean, mango, strawberry, chocolate, green tea and sesame matched with chocolate and caramel spring rolls with condensed milk dipping sauce. Yummy!!"

"I came here craving Mexican food and drinks and that’s exactly what my got. However I actually ordered a fish burger which was delicious and juicy. The fish was fried to perfection, nice and soft. The chips were crunchy and salted and the sauce was nicely seasoned."

"Since returning from London I miss my favourite Japanese restaurant. Now that I've discovered Toko, I don't mind so much. I can enjoy it each time I go to Sydney. It has an inviting menu, food was delicious and I like a barman who makes a good Chilli Margarita!"

"We are here a few times, especially for coffee (they have an excellent barista.) of a Sunday we decided for the common Turkish breakfast. it was an excellent choice. there was a small bowl with rührei, a plate of mixed nuts, cucumber tomatoes,...feta oliven, sucuk, marmelade and a plate with acidic cherry tree and tahini and very generous serve of toast and bagels. the honey and the labneh (I think) have been so well together that I have cleared it up. there were a few more things I was not familiar with, but it was delicious. I think they start with the mixed nuts and olives, the hearty objects, then the sweet jams and finish with beautiful wedge of sweet. it was an amazing introduction to the Turkish breakfast. the Turkish coffee came with a glass of champagne water and a small piece of Turkish joy. I recommend the Turkish breakfast as something else to her speck and eier or avocado on toast."

"Great pub! Really good selection of craft beer which always gets my husband's tick of approval! I liked that they had a bar and two dining areas as we were dining with a pram so appreciated the extra space!<br>

We started with the dumpling plate which was nice but nothing amazing. I also wish they'd told us which dumpling was which rather than us having to guess. Not the best dumplings I've ever had but not terrible either. <br>

Burgers were yum! My husband had the soft shell crab burger which was really good but quite light and not overly filling. I had the double royale with cheese and bacon and this one won in the taste stakes. Could have been a bit juicier but it was good. Chips were disappointing - tasted like they were frozen premade.<br>

Overall a yum spot with great beers and friendly staff, just not the best food I've had
