"The staff was attentive and quick to help. I had the Shrimp with grits was very good. The meatball appetizer was yummy I would actually love to have that for my dinner. I would definitely recommend to friends and I would go back."

"Tavolo is a great neighboring restaurant. we are addicted to the pasta alla norma, but compel us to try other things. the salads are delicious and interchangeable. we had no bad experience in eating or in service."

"I repeatedly come in and get the same thing the seafood combo with some steamed dim sims. Seafood and chips are consistently good to great but dim sims are really hit and miss with frequently the dim sims just not having been in long enough. I admit I like them peeling having been in for a long time. But often these are still firm and the soy sauce barely penetrates. Once they forgot the seafood sticks (2 in the combo) which is really frustrating as I have to travel a bit. They did offer next time but I wasn't going to chase that up. It has made me look elsewhere but hard pressed here in the north for good Fish and Chips. Dim Sims impossible."

"I never want a bad assessment about a little business, but sometimes they leave it without choice. I bought 4 mini cheesecakes for $25. they are literally bite size all 4 together would not even equal 1 piece cheesecake. not only that they were only half full on 2, and they were gummy. the taste was terrible. this place is totally demolished. they can get better cheesecake from the food business. her cheesecake filled cookie is between stale cookies. I ordered from them to torment and to crush it in the müll along with the cheesecake box. these reviews are either written by friends and family or none of them ever had real cheesecakes"

"Maximum occupancy is 17! That's how small the dining area is. The door is on Walker, and you're in the dining area once you enter. You'll see two doorways after you get inside. One goes to the host stand/kitchen, and the other goes to the restroom. The kitchen doesn't have a door on it, and the restroom does If they don't come out to seat you then just walk up to the kitchen doorway and peek in there. After you're seated they'll take your order at the table, but after you're done eating you'll need to go up to the kitchen to pay They make their own corn and flour tortillas and food from scratch. The spices and flavors of their recipes are unique and the meats are super tender. The rice is fluffy, tender, and spiced so well, and rhe beans are creamy with some of the most unctuous bean flavor of all the beans I've ever had They serve a red and green salsa with the chips and they're both notably spicy, but if you're sensitive to spicy stuff then it may be a challenge for you. I enjoyed them and ended up using them on my gordita and guisada tacos Looking forward to trying the rest of the meats, and other traditional dishes I'm hoping they get a paper towel dispenser/holder for the restroom because using paper towels that are sitting on top of a toilet is kinda undesirable to me"
