"NeW Edit Reply To restaurant comment:No sorry, I was ordering way before the holidays to ,including last year once in awhile so saying it’s because the holidays is pretty much invalid,I’m just writing this review late cause I was giving u guys chances to get it right-original review comment:Unfortunately not buying from you guys again, I’m usually a very passive quiet person buut I’ve ordered a handfuls of times (there isn’t that many Jamaican places in London) I use to get Jamaican food all the time in Toronto, so I’ve been trying here since I moved, so I would order a large and more then half the time they give me a regular size meal I now feel like they are doing it on purpose because when I’ve ordered I explicitly said make sure I get a large because I’ve gotten regular by mistake often enough yet they still most times gave me regular . I usually have to contact skip or Uber to get my money back , and I know what the large is supposed to look like . I’m not saying you’re scamming,(since Covid some restaurants have been giving less food on takeout to save money/stock)but make sure your employees double check before letting the driver leave with it. Also what use to be boneless isn’t anymore so your given more bones then meat now what’s up with that dude? Example: The curry goat being mostly bone common u kno I’m bein straight with u curry goat is usually my favourite Jamaican dish yet yours has no meat Ya-kno, I kno there’s suppose to be bone but there’s also supposed to be meat lol , the food is suppose to be hardy not just full of bones. Maybe look at other Jamaican restaurants in Canada and see how they do their food cause I def got my moneys worth in Toronto where one of them even bbq outside , you can see and tell it’s hardy just by walking by. I think u guys need to revalue how u do certain things or your just gunna keep getting disappointed customers… It sucks when you don’t even get what you paid for multiple multiple times ,please talk to your staff.I don’t like giving bad reviews but it’s the honest truth my dudes. hope your able to fix the issues."

"So I just got back from Grenada and was missing the Caribbean food but I found the taste of the Caribbean right here in London at the Trini Man Kitchen. There is something about Caribbean food that has got a hold of me. Besides the ocean and the beach I think the food is the thing I look forward to the most when traveling to the Islands (well maybe that and a cold Carib). Everything down there is so fresh and in season and local. One thing we could learn from them is to treat our own local area like an island and source our meals locally but that's another article for another day. About a week after my return from Grenada I was jonesing for something to take me back to here:"

"I went to Wich is Wich to have lunch with some colleagues. When it comes to pleasing me, this place had the deck stacked against. I tend to avoid bread more often than not. When I saw that there is an option to turn your sandwich into a salad I went for that.I ended up going with a roast turkey salad. It wasn't bad, but considering it costs $4 more to have the salad than the sandwich option, it was fairly underwhelming. The portion of meat appear to be significantly smaller than what one would receive on a bun and it was served over a bed of iceberg lettuce. However, the delicious dressing which accompanied it was a saving grace.That being said, the sandwiches looked fantastic and my group seemed very pleases with their orders."

"I went to their lunch buffet and it was tasty. I could have most items on the buffet except the butter chicken. I wasn't a fan of the onion bhaji, but everyone else at my table liked them. The curry was tasty, but the beef was dry and not very tender. But for the price you get lots of food and it is tasty! I would go back for lunch."

"Late Saturday afternoon we ordered two large jerk chicken dinners for pick up. The dinners are supposed to include rice and peas, and coleslaw. I was looking forward to the coleslaw as I'm not a big rice fan and I heard that Reggae's had really good slaw.So, after a 30 minute drive there and back, we sit down to enjoy our dinners and there was no coleslaw, just a lot of rice and peas.I called Reggae's to inquire about the issue and they said they were out of coleslaw. I don't know how you run out of an item that accompanies most of your entrees so early in a dinner service, and why did they not inform us of this at the time of ordering and/or pickup.Very disappointing, to the point that I am unlikely to return. Having said that, the chicken was very good."
