"If the game in the Allianz Arena starts at 6:30 p.m. and you just have to go with the U6 of M Fröttmaning including conversion to Sendlinger Tor to M Neuhausen, then the inclined and possibly still hungry Munich visitors of the time would get the security still a table and something to eat. Various German Bavarian restaurants confirm for 21:30 no more booking requests just come by and see if you are lucky and still have space and after the Spaniard on Friday it should not be Mexican on Saturday. So much from our choice to Bollywood in Munich Neuhausen, at least on foot from the underground station and the hotel, booking by email was not a problem for the planned time. Boolywood is located in the Münchner district Neuhausen an der Donnersberger Straße on the ground floor one of the predominant multi-family houses, parking is on the street with some luck to find, we were walking. From the outside, the restaurant makes a very sober impression. A few tables and chairs outside the door on the sidewalk, here you can calm down, but it does not really have to, so comfortable the garden furniture of the garden chair does not work. Bollywood outside view in the evening inside gets a dark counter, right hand a few tables, the larger guest room for maybe 40 people is on the left. All this is a mix of Indian rest without excessive decoration and the charm of an old-fashioned restaurant. The tables are covered with a cream-colored tablecloth, the matching fabric napkins, cutlery, silver-colored salt and pepper shaker and a candle in a silver-colored candlestick. The color of the tablecloths was reflected on the walls and the ceiling, somehow harmonious, also with the red and white window cloths as color accent. Guest room in Bollywood We were greeted in Indian friendly, i.e. politely reluctant and led to our four table, with the menus in the dark leather cover handed over to us at the same time. The Servive acted quickly, but on request the order requests were too fast. Three! Requirements for what we want to order within about 10 minutes after emptying the menus, I find myself exaggerated and remember the course of the counter a fast food restaurant. In contrast, the waiting period for the invoice or the period until you could order it. At least when serving the ordered foods, the timing was perfect. We had ordered a light from the Tegernse brewery and a soft drink. As an appetizer of mixed appetizer for two persons vegetarian samosa, fish Pakoras, vegetables Pakoras, onion rings, chicken Pakoras and Papadams with three different dips to € 11,90. To this and to the main dishes again Garlic Nan € 3,40 . As a main dish we chose butter chicken grilled chicken breast pieces in butter cream tomato sauce € 14,90 and Chicken Tikka delicate grilled and marinated chicken meat pieces € 16,50. The dives to the Papadams to, once fruity picant, once slightly sharp and once crumbled spicy, the Nan bread with reasonable garlic note. Bollywood Papadams Bollywood Garlic Nan The ingredients of the appetizer plate for us successfully fish out of the cool chest with the promise of long life of content. Okay, but no more, at least not served greasy. The accompanying greenware is unveiled and taste-neutral, but also serves as decoration. Bollywood appetizer plate The two main dishes, on the other hand, without guilt and compulsion. The butter chicken nicely delicately prepared, accompanied by a pleasantly spicy sauce, both tastefully and quantitatively there was nothing to bring out here. Chicken Tikka could also score with tender, spicy chicken meat. The meat is juicy grilled, the accompanying vegetables are still easy to bite, the sauce is slightly picant. To this end, a granular rice, which was unfortunately not served in a bowl with lid, but open on a plate that was not really good at the temperature. All in all, it was good with food, just good yet, it kind of hits. Nothing special, but nothing to avoid on Saturday night in Munich. There was nothing to complain about cleanliness in the guest room or in the toilets. The completion of our visit on 14.04.2018: 3 – when it comes back, but other alternatives are available in the area. 1 – certainly not again, 2 – hardly again, 3 – when it comes back, 4 – again happy, 5 – necessary back to the kitchen trip."
