"Such a shame, I have been to Kathmandu several times before, especially when I lived around the corner on Nordhemsgatan. I was looking forward to order some tandoori chicken with paneer and some naan bread. When I came into the restaurant I noticed that the place was almost empty, 2-3 tables were filled, but since I have been here before I thought that it was just a silent evening. Unfortunately the Tandoori chicken that I ordered was cold and raw, when I noticed this I informed the waiter who informed me that she was sorry and that she wanted to place a new order at the kitchen. I informed her that I was not trusting the chicken anymore after eating it raw. She told me nonetheless that she was going to give me a new plate of chicken. I did continue eating my naan bread with paneer, which was a bit bland but still enjoyable. After a minute she returned and asked if I wanted to bring my food home – a strange question since I was still eating… At this moment I mentioned again that I did not trust the chicken dish anymore and that I did not want to receive it. She informed me that the chicken dish was already processed in the kitchen. After 3-4 minutes she checked in again and here I told her that I did not want to have the chicken after she agreed to cancel it. She could have done this directly and saved another chicken to go into the the trash bin. Is been a really long time that I have received raw chicken in a restaurant. Afterwards, she charged me the normal food bill without the chicken, but no additional discount or anything else. Also the chef did not present himself and inform me about the mistake. In the end, mistakes can happen, but when you go to a restaurant you should be able to expect not to be served raw food, and especially not chicken. In the rare case that it happens, at least let you customer leave your place happy by giving a discount or offering the food for free.… I will never return to this place and hope that others will think twice before going here too."
