"I am a high school student in Denmark and about a week ago I was in Berlin with my high school for a little trip. We were about 87 students and 5 teachers. The teachers were planning a dinner for us to enjoy our time together as one big family. The teachers found this restaurant and emailed them asking if their food was halal, because a fair amount of us are muslims The owners of this restaurant had the audacity to lie to the teachers and claimed that they were pakistanis and that the food is halal. (Because a lot of pakistanis are muslims) When we then show up to the restaurant, one of our teachers, who is muslim, had a bad gut feeling, so he asked a waiter if the food is halal and he straight up said no it is not. Turns out that they are Indians and have nothing to do with halal food at all. Our teacher and all the other muslim students were annoyed and fustrated. We just wanted to enjoy a nice dinner. So we left the restaurant after half an hour and spend close to half an hour finding somthing to eat at 22 o'clock... If you know what's best for you don't visit this restaurant, because it turns out that their food in general does not taste good at all."

"During a recent tour of London, our party of six (five 55+ adults and one 12YO male) decided to stop here for lunch. Since it was quite chilly that day (40 F and windy), we were wearing coats, sweaters, and nice jeans. Upon entering, the maitre d ' manager (I assume) made a comment to the effect of “Well, you certainly seem to have dressed warm today”. Maybe it was an attempt at humor, but it wasn’t exactly a friendly greeting. Seeing that the restaurant only had a party of five and a party of two seated, we asked if a table was available. Maitre d ' manager’s response was “Do you have a reservation?” Obviously not, or we would have said that when we entered. He said he’d see what was available, walked away, came back a few minutes later and asked a waitress to seat us at a table that was already set for six. The food (sweet and sour chicken, sweet and sour pork, chicken noodles, Szechuan beef, egg fried rice, white rice) was absolutely delicious. The wait staff was attentive, polite and gave us time to savor our meal. Meanwhile, the maitre d ' manager never once checked on us. He did, however, take the time to seat, take the order of and personally serve two young ladies seated directly across from our table who ordered Afternoon Tea. I also observed that at no time during our meal did the restaurant have more than a dozen patrons, including our party, and many were dressed in the same manner that we were. I’ve read this is supposed to be one of London’s best Asian restaurants. That’s certainly true from a food perspective. Unfortunately, some the staff’s attitude distracts from that."

"Plan was to try again a restaurant with breakfast what we like to do. There is no great choice, but it was very delicious. We were well equipped for our shopping day. Additional requests were met promptly. Stirring is definitely recommended!!!"
