"The food was good however the experience was not pleasant in that after 30 minutes I had to ask if my order was put in. It was not. I also had to ask for an item that should have been included. After speaking to the manager and explaining what occurred I said that my meal should have been comped as a result. He said “well I can comp it if you want”. At that point a negative review suited me better."

"They have good deals in the bar area and half price family meals on Monday. Sadly the food is lacking and the building is in desperate need of repair. The nachos are good from the appetizer menu. The pecan crusted chicken salad is good when theyactually remember to include all of the ingredients. The bowtie festival is the only pasta choice I?ve found to be halfwaydecent. At one point they had a steak special which led me to try that (which I normally would have never done at an Italianplace) and when they actually remembered the seasoned butter, that went on top, it was surprisingly delicious. I have triedalmost everything on the menu and this is all I have found that I like. It?s kinda surprising considering I?m not that picky andthey have a large menu. Oh and the tiramisu is delicious. I found the quality of most dishes comparable to Fazoli?s. However,the price reflects a high end restaurant, which it is far from."

"Our visits are always satisfying and the food is always excellent. The manager John Rovello and staff are always professional and make sure to check on you often. If you have not tried the steak and shrimp, we highly recommend it. The Sangria is also very good and refreshing. The bread and oil is the best!"

"Mama's spaghetti was very good, very generous portions and a pleasant atmosphere. Lunch was a bit expensive, but very good food. Restaurant was clean and tidy, service was quite slow to lunch, I only saw 2 servers during the meal. Total good experience."

"This is the second time I've went and each time its been an unpleasant experience. The hostesses are rude and do not listen while taking orders. The food is mediocre and for the price it's a rip off. That is my last time going Edit: the food actuallytasted better the second day after a warm up then it tasted when I ordered it. So that was a plus!"

"Have not been to Johnny Carinos in 5 years since the one in San Marcos unfortunately shut down. It was my favorite restaurant. We had Adrian as our server he was so helpful with everything we needed. And everything tasted just like it did 5 years ago!!Oil with bread Raspberry Italian cream soda are the best and what make the business unique!"
