"Would you like to tell all parents with children at school - send NY/LI BAGELS to your children at the university and at the university. What a great, delicious, fresh treat!! Students will be happy to receive the Bagels - can share with friends or freeze them. Joe owner is a pleasure to deal with it. Oceanside and Massapequa."

"Went in for lunch today, Friday, and requested the round table. The rude blonde waitress very curtly stated that there was only room for 6 chairs, whereas we had 7 in the party. Upon looking at the table, we could definitely have fit one more chair and gently pointed that out. She obnoxiously refused and blamed the policy on the owner of the establishment. She also stated that if we tried to add the extra chair, she would kick us out. Well, she didn’t need to as we left and went to ‘Me You Restaurant’ and had a lovely, sweet server who served us a delicious meal I will never ever walk into Sweeney’s again, and apparently not a lot of people do as there was only one patron, sitting at the bar. (If I could, I would give this place a -5 stars)"

"We loved this little not so little place. It looked small from the outside but was very big once you go in. It was a Friday afternoon when we happen upon it on our way to Adventureland. We were starving so my GPS found Mangoes. My son and I ordered steaks and my hubby the quesadillas. I had a nice mango margarita, my hubby a beer and lemonade for my son. The steaks were tender, juice and well seasoned, my son devoured his. The quesadilla was crispy on the outside and the chicken was well seasoned and tender. The service was great. The staff was friendly, courteous and attentive. My son said it was the best!"
