Not impressed by the wait times and service from the owner.<br>
Monday evening, with 3 other tables in the restaurant seated. Took 20 minutes for entrees to arrive. Then took another 30 minutes for mains. And during this time, we noticed another table receiving food earlier, despite ordering after us.<br>
Went to counter to pay. One other person in line. Girl at the counter constantly getting harassed by the male owner. Said male owner serves 3rd person to arrive first. Takes 10 bloody minutes to pay for a meal.<br>
Despite my previous good experiences, the overbearing owner and wait times ruined this restaurant for me. Never coming back.<br>

(Plus the food this time was disappointing - the soft shell crab and pineapple fried rice were both well below average. Though to be fair, the pad Thai and island curry were still winners)<br>

"Waited 45 minutes for 1x Granola bowl. After half hr I asked twice two waitresses to check on order they said “okay” I saw them go inside and do nothing about it no one got back to me. It was busy but not packed. After 45mins I had enough of waiting for 1 granola bowl so got my money back and left hungry and disappointed. The lady on the checkout was not even apologetic. Oh my way out a waiter ran up to me offering a free bowl which was a nice gesture however by this stage it was too late I was already very disappointed."

"Visited this renowned café last Wednesday prior to pick up some reference book from Mt Gravatt Griffith University. I had no problem to find a table because I was the early bird who was the first customer of the day. Tried to order my flat white but the friendly staff told me that they don't serve coffee and I can bring along coffee from next door (Florist espresso) instead. I am very much appreciated this policy because it would eliminate any unnecessary conflict in serving coffee to diners and cut down the competition. Therefore, I ordered the "Sunrise" and the Bacon & Egg stack. Took a seat at the casual dining area with the lay-out just like fairy tale world. When the savoury dish was presented on the table, my gaze was attracted by the sunny side up egg and the cute-looking bacon piece. The combination was perfect with enough quantity of salad and dashes of dressing so the egg won't make me feel greasy and full. In addition, the cold drink of mixed carrot, orange, pineapple & beetroot really helps the digestion and it was so refreshing to have a cold drink under the outdoor temperature of 10 degree..... Love the food & love the service..."
