"Date of visit: March br/>I've already dined at this branch a few times before. On my most recent visit (March I tried their Bangus Tinapa instead of their usual tapa meals. I asked if it's boneless to make sure and they said it is so I was decided to get it. I requested for calamansi as this goes well with the fish. I liked it so much tastes so good and the serving size was just right. I would definitely order this again next time."

"We don't really need to buy cupcakes since my Mom and I loves to bake. But it's just hard not to notice Vanilla Cupcake Bakery's doll house-like shop with lots of good looking cupcakes. From chandeliers, to dainty chairs down to their eye-candy pink mixers, Cath Kidston cutleries and pink fridge, I was sold. ???? <br>

We both ordered milkshakes and two cupcakes, Red Velvet and Salted Caramel. I bake red velvet a lot and for me, their red velvet needs extra moist (or maybe we just got some old batch ????). Just by looking how the frosting was slightly yellowish means there's too much sugar or butter. Creamcheese frosting should look clean white in color like they should see Laura Vitale. Salted Caramel didn't do much impact on me. But anyways, their red velvet is better than Sonja's. <br>

"This is one of my secret hideouts that I love to visit when I'm stressed out and had enough people-ing in a day or week. I love how quiet it gets around late afternoon. My favorite spot is the table by the window because from there, I can watch cars drive by along Ayala Avenue while sipping a cup of their very comforting Philippine hot chocolate! "Ordered the Smoked BBQ Ribs. I was shocked when it was served because I didn't expect the slabs of rib to be so huge. And for less than 500 bucks? I mean, c'mon! The 2-piece portion can be shared by 3-4 people. The meat was well-cooked and so tender, and the sauce that went with it was so rich and flavorful. Probably the best BBQ ribs in town! The overall atmosphere of the place was very cozy and good for a end-of-the-week chit-chat with friends. Fast service. Very friendly and efficient crew, too."

Sunday was so very cheesy when we experienced Brunch Buffet at Poblacion Dining Room.<br>

Poblacion Dining Room is located in Poblacion, Makati. They have the same roof of Commune Coffee, just right beside the cafe. The brunch buffet has limited slot only, the place isn't big enough to accommodate big groups. The buffet table was well designed and it has various kinds of breads.<br>

This is a sit down buffet, they will be serving the featured dishes on the said day. The guests are free to ask for another round if they want to. Yes, as the hashtag go, the melted raclette is unlimited and other cheeses while supplies last.<br>

We were handed the menu of the day as we start the Brunch Buffet. The server asked our drink first (we can choose at least two drinks) while we wait for the first dish to be served.<br>

I've read Noli Me Tangere in high school. I barely remember the story, some of the characters escaped my memory except for three. Ze well known love team Philippine Literature - Ibarra and Maria Clara and the Spanish Friar who raised hell over dinner due to a bad chicken part. Kids, that's Padre Damaso. <br>

Nope, i aint writing a book review. I am gonna spill the beans on the namesake of Padre Damaso in restaurant form. <br>

Restaurante Pia Y Damaso. I'll be honest this joint intimidates me for some reason. I feel like a high school kid again. My fear is that the servers would ask me Noli related questions or there is a secret password before one can enter. <br>

Had dinner here with Grams and my uncle visiting from Canada. We ordered a shitload of stuff, all i remember is Kapitan Tiago's Kare Kare and Tubig ni Maria Clara. <br>

Dibs for creative names for the dishes. They are staying true to the Noli theme. Kare Kare - native stew made with peanut sauce, beef tripe, tail and meat, served with bagoong shrimp paste on the side. I have always liked this homegrown stew. Damaso's version is not as good as the others I've tried though (Kanin Klub's seafood kare kare). Dont get me wrong, the meat is cooked well, it lacks the peanut flavor that I'm looking for. The shrimp paste saves the day. <br>

Tubig ni Maria Clara. Fresh cucumber juice, ginger and citrus water. Light and refreshing. Do not let your fear of ginger hinder your from trying this, no traces of ginger flavor. <br>

Overall, my Damaso experience is okay, not remarkable, their price is a lil steep compared with the other restaurants. One can get an awesome kare kare without coughing out too much dough."
