"Do not hesitate to visit Joseph Hyde, as satisfaction is guaranteed. Fussy long black drinker has found her haven... and the food - impeccable. Try everything on the menu at least once... but only if you can resist the temptation of the weekly specials. Best eggs benedict I've had in Sydney, possibly ever. Staff are so inviting and accommodating too. Run, don't walk - as there probably won't be any seats left!!"

"Ahh... What better than a quick stop at the juice shop for a dose of nutrition. I like their Detox juice.... Anything with ginger is good. Whoever is there at the shop, is always friendly. Makes me wanna drink more juice :)"

"After searching months for a private dining room for my sister's Hens, I was reccomened The Crane Bar. I've never been here before and was very excited and looking forward to a great night out. The venue looks great and perfect for our event. <br>
But sadly last night, I experienced one of the worst let downs in Hospitality.<br>
Event manager Chris took my booking for a group of 10 for the private room in The Forbidden Fortress weeks ago. <br>
He assured me through an email, my booking was confirmed and I can have the private room.<br>
I left him numerous of messages and emails requesting for him to get back with me regarding deposits and final numbers. A week later and not hearing anything back from him I called the venue twice to confirm my booking. I spoke to another manager, Kirstie who assured me both times that my booking was booked and I had nothing to worry about. <br>
On the night of our very special event I was confronted by another manager Vicky saying I cannot have the private room because the owners have decided to have a meeting in there. She blamed everything on Chris and mentioned he always does this and he was suppose to let me know my booking had been cancelled. I later checked my emails and found an email from Chris hours before my event to tell me the owners have decided to give the room to their regulars. Everyone was blaming each other. This is very unprofessional.<br>
In my 20 years in hospitality I have never witnessed such incompetence from any establishment.<br>
They wanted to offer us a seat outside and expected us to be happy with a free round of cocktails. Out of principle we left and spent our money elsewhere. <br>
No body ever tried to call me to let me know my booking for the private room was cancelled. <br>
A cancellation email hours before a booking of 10 people on a Saturday night is extreamely inconsiderate, unacceptable and unprofessional. I will never spend a cent in this establishment. <br>
It's a shame because this is a nice venue but the people who runs it are unprofessional."

"Housed within the Springfield Lodge, Petrel Kitchen (known as Petrol Kitchen on Google Maps) is a cozy cafe and bar in Potts Point which offers a series of Spanish and Moroccan influenced brunches and tapas. The cafe and bar features a special tiny outdoor alfresco dining area with a ubiquitous European quaint I got myself a flat white and Spanish chorizo omelette for my breakfast last weekend. On the one hand, the flat white was served scorching hot and tasted more milky and latte than espresso. On the other hand, the omelette was delicious and tasty but oozes chunks of oil in every bite."

"Gypsy espresso is a small cafe off the main strip in Kings Cross / Potts point. There are about 5 tables inside and a few out the front. They are known for their coffee and the staff have a great knowledge and advice of the coffee. Only too happy to provide me with a weak skim cap. I got it in a takeaway cup as I have a bit of an obsession with artwork cups! It is also a good coffee; gypsy roasters beans. I ordered the ancient grain, sweet corn, tomato, spinach and goats cheese, pumpkin seeds and yogurt dressing salad for my lunch. Absolutely delicious with a really nice dressing, and very healthy. Service was lovely; the barista notably very skilled and a good atmosphere in the cafe - particularly good lady working the till, seemed to know customers well.
