"Had a marvellous time at Sala de estar in Huaraz. The food is excellent and everything is homemade. We went there three times and tried among others the pizzas, the quinoa salad, the (homemade! pastas as well as the chicken soup and also some deserts. The quality of the food is great and service very friendly. Highly recommend after a long trekking day!"

"In the 5 years I have tried many Juguerias (Juice Bars) that I live in Huaraz and Disfrútalo is definitely the best. Juices are simply delicious, it is clear that they only use high quality fruits. The variety is fantastic, just about any fruit you can think of, simple, mixed or with milk. There is also a wide selection of delicious sandwiches. Service is fast and friendly. Prices are more a local joint than a touristic place, prices are very cheap. It is always packed in the morning, unlike other Juguerias in the same street, so it is quite clear that everyone is the favorite. Do not miss this place if you want a delicious, cheap breakfast, come here instead of the overpriced tourist cafes in the city, you will not be disappointed!"

"If you want to immerse yourself in a photographic history of Huaraz while enjoying food items that are genuinely Peruvian go here. Our Peruvian host took us there for lunch. We enjoyed a couple of local specialties (all vegan plus a fish item that is somewhere between calamari and beef jerky! There were lots of different sauces to try too. The food is unusual and while I don’t think any gringos would find it objectionable I doubt it will become a favorite of many of us either. I particularly enjoyed all the photos that the owner has accumulated over the years. They provide an intriguing insight into the history of Huaraz, its culture and its people. The prices are extremely reasonable."

"We ended it up at Teo's after a recommandation from our guide book (Le Routard). Teo's is a typical peruvian restaurant in Huaraz. The staff is very nice. The food is amazing and cheap! I had my best lomo saltado at this place! I highly recommend this place."
