"Someone from Holland told us to visited Grinzinger and the wine farms on a sunday, because all the shops en stores in Vienna are closed on sunday. So we did, we went to Grinzinger and we were really dissapointed because we thought we would see...lots of vineyards. We walked and walked, and took the bus upwarts the mountain and then we saw Obermann, a cosy house next to a vineyard and where were people sitting on the terrace. When the buss was on it's final stop, we took it back down and stopped at the Obermann restaurant. There we threw ourselves in a chair and ordered some wine which the lovely girl from the restaurant recommended. The sun was shining bright and the garden and the terrace were full of people, which were all locals. The terrace is really cosy with lots of plants and the typical house gives the hole space an Austrian ambiance. We ordered some more wine which the girl also recomended. When the people arround us were getting food from inside, we became really curious and went for a look at the food as well. There was a lot of food, all fresh, directly served and looking amazing. We ordered some different snacks and food and another wine. We were completely surprised, the food was incredible good and had so much taste. I think we have been there for almost three hours, eating, drinking and observing the people and the place around us. The girls and boys who work here are very kind and really helpfull. We talked for a while with one of the girls who worked there, she told us that her brother made the drawings on the labels and cards which you see everywhere there. The drawings were absolutely amazing and I was even allowed to take some cards home with me. The ambiance in Obermann was simply amazing and very cohabiting. It made us feel like we were in our own garden with the best wine and the best food we ever had."
