"I found this restaurant with the happy cow app (although I had often been on pch). there are great vegetarian options that can be made vegan - although be careful to give their food preferences before the front, as the vegetarian tacos and burritos otherwise have cheese in them. I liked the Butternuss quash best, but the cauliflower and sweet potatoes options were also great. the place is on the water and seems to meet like a large restaurant with friends or their date / spouse. it seems packed, so I would recommend a reservation instead of going."

"10/22/22 A wonderful evening at Tommy Bahama in Newport Beach. We had reservations and sat outside at a nice table. Carlos our server was great and very attentive. We had to start the coconut shrimp appetizer and drinks that were fantastic. Carlos took our Entree folder and my wife had the Lachs Entree and I ordered the Filet mignon record. Both were very good. We finished the evening with a common piece of pumpkin cheesecake Ala mode, which was from this world. The coffee was also excellent. Great people, food and ambience. Very recommended. We had dinner tonight in the outdoor terrace at Tommy Bahamas and had a wonderful time. We were greeted by the hostess who sat and she was very friendly and so sweet. Melissa was our waitress and was nothing less fantastic. We started with drinks and coconut yarns that were simply tasty. The drinks were also solid and well made by the professional chemist behind the bar. We had her bread, which is also heavenly. After a few drinks and a great conversation we ordered our ducks. My wife had the laughing vow she loved and left nothing on the plate. My wife said it was perfectly cooked and seasoned and so delicate. Speaking of tenderness I had the fillet mignon medium seldom cooked for perfection with cauliflower potatoes and arugula. The steak was tender, tasty and simply perfect. We decided not to have a desert, but finished with a beautiful cup of Expresso Java. Very recommended and simply amazing!"
