"Came here on Mardi Gras last Tuesday. The decor and atmosphere of this place makes you feel as if you are in Louisiana, in some cajun backwater restaurant, complete with using your hands as utensils and a large paper table cloth as your plate. Which is fun, because I was licking some of the juices off my fingers (don't judge me on that). There is also writing all over the walls, which my four year old enjoyed adding her own artistic flair. But oh man....the price!! You would think you are fine dining with the price. We ordered a crawdad bucket, and chose spicy level at sizzling(no picture unfortunately), twin lobster rolls, and a kids meal for my 4 year old which consists of corn dog nuggets and fries. I also washed down everything with a blueberry alcoholic drink, and my husband enjoyed his candy gator beer. The crawdad bucket was tasty, however I probably wouldn’t order crawdads again. I do like how there are many different flavors of sauce to choose from, and then the varying levels of heat for your boil. I enjoyed my lobster rolls. My daughter didn’t enjoy her corndogs, but she is super picky. I must say prices are much higher than the last time I have visited any angry crab, but everything is getting expensive right now so eh. Our server was great, so that is good. Overall, a solid place to enjoy a good boil."

"We have been coming to the museum for years but never tried the restaurant. But on 4/23 we were going to see the National Theater Live showing of Othello, and decided to make a day of it. We arrived with well over an hour before showtime thinking that should be enough based on their brunch menu. It was a little busy so we were asked to put our name on a list but seated less than ten minutes later. We ordered coffee, the goat cheese tart, and an eggs benedict. And then we sat, and sat, and sat. I kept hearing servers telling customers that their POS system was not sending tickets to the kitchen. So it seems like if it was that big a problem, just shut the restaurant down or do things the old fashioned way with hand written tickets. But no, they kept putting orders into the POS they knew was not working. We kept sitting until we finally flagged our server down and told her that we were going to have to cancel the order as we now had only 15 minutes until the show was to start. I tried to go to the hostess station to pay for our coffees but she disappeared and did not come back for at least ten minutes. I was so angry I was about to walk out and forcibly comp the two coffees we drank. Then the server came running out of the kitchen with our food, so we wolfed it down, paid and left. Not once in all that time we sat were we offered a coffee refill. The tart was frankly tasteless, the pastry looked overcooked, and the filling was overly hot in a way that makes me suspect Chef Mike was involved. The benedict was fine. The coffee we did get was good. I heard one of the servers telling another customer they are closing at the end of May, so now I wonder if the staff just doesn 't care anymore. The entire experience was capped off by the wierdo sitting by himself at a corner table who TOOK OFF HIS SHOES while eating his food. Staff saw this and did nothing about it. I honestly regret talking my husband into trying it. Not worth the price, in money or time, at all."
