"The restaurant was not very full, we sat down and ordered our drinks first. My husband prefers crepes (the sweet ones). However, when we tried to order one galette and one crepe, the manager said that they were a small restaurant and that we needed...to order first 2 galettes (according to him, that’s what French people do) before being able to order a crepe. We tried to insist, but he was irreducible!!!! Because we were only one day 1 France and I love galettes, my husband agreed to order a galette for him. The problem was that after eating the galette he was no longer hungry and could not order the crepe. I felt so sorry for him. We ordered 2 beers, a large Perrier and two glasses of wine to drink… and if they had let us eat what we wanted, we would have probably drunken more and ordered more.. it’s really a shame. The galette was very good, the problem was the service and this stupid rule. After all, we went to a creperie, but we could not order a crepe without eating a gallete first. Just disappointing!!!! And the crepe costs the same amount as the galette! We saw other people consuming less than us… this was definitely a loss of the restaurant; happy costumers consume more and write nice reviews!!!"
