"No one ever answers the phones, which is not helpful for those trying to get directions, or speak to a manager or employee. I've called probably 20 times in last week. Never got one person to answer my calls."

"Coming from someone who has lived in LA all her life, this place is by far the best Mexican food place in the Santa Barbara area. They have great customer service and they even have PUPUSAS! Yes, that's right Salvadorian food. And, I cannot stress enough how delicious this place is and also affordable. For two people, I paid about less than 25 bucks including drinks. They have seating inside and out. If I could give them ten stars, I would. AMAZING PLACE!!!"

"Ordered the Original 12 oz with Chia Seeds. Heard recommendations from friends in Santa Barbara that this is a must try shop. Very pleasant and refreshing drink. The orange juice did not overwhelm the strawberry and banana. The consistency was very smooth and remained thick. Hardly any separation between the more liquid parts of the drink from the solids. I don't think going for the 24 oz is necessary but if you're thirsty, it's not a bad deal. Appreciated that they do use paper straws and thankfully did not become too soggy after some time."

"Everything tasted fresh, right down to the refried beans. I had a chicharron gordita, and it took longer to cook but was worth the wait. There was enough food that I couldn't finish. She had a decent pork taco and an asada taco that was another five stars all by itself. It was so good I'll have to order something asada next time. The prices didn't seem out of line at all and the service was great. We've been searching out more small independent places lately and this has moved high on the list of great Mexican food for us."

"I came here searching for an opportunity to have a vegan brunch in Santa Barbara. Unfortunately, LA traffic held me up and I didn’t get there until after the brunch hour, and they were eager to warn me that they close in an hour—even though I had an hour left to order and eat and they weren’t at all packed. Anyway, the menu looked wonderful, but the food was surprisingly bland despite a beautiful presentation. The pulled mushroom sandwich had a subtle barbecue flavor, but it tasted as if it hadn’t been marinated and the oyster mushrooms were not tender. The fudge brownie basically tasted like cacao paste with slight sweetener in it. Actually, my favorite dish was the side salad that had shredded beats on top. It was quite flavorful and the blend of the tart shredded beets complement of the balsamic vinegar dressing very well."
