"Generally speaking the standard of restaurants in Strasbourg has been steadily declining for a number of years to the point where mediocrity is now a normality. That is not the case here. I was at a loose end and turned up here on my own...without a reservation, fortunately I was fairly early but if I'd been 10 minutes later I wouldn't have got a table. Interesting seasonal menu explained in detail by the owner. Fresh ingredients bought daily and modern, innovative cooking using unusual combinations which worked. Carefully chosen wines. Standard of service was very high,knowledgable staff and lots of eye contact. It's not often I give a restaurant 5 stars but this deserves it. Highly recommended, but make a reservation."

"Ma fille allergique au gluten a fait une réaction après avoir mangé dans ce restaurant des plats présentés comme "sans gluten".Nous avions bien précisé dès le début à la vendeuse qu'il ne s'agissait pas d'une intolérance mais d'une allergie.Nous avons fait constaté à la vendeuse que la lèvre de notre fille enflait (heureusement nous avions des médicaments pour enrayer la crise), qui nous a montré une étiquette minuscule sur laquelle il était marqué qu'il pouvait y avoir des traces de gluten...Après contacté le propriétaire du restaurant, en lui disant qu'il doit prendre des précautions en cuisine pour ne pas contaminer les produits affichés sans gluten, celui-ci ne semble pas vouloir changer ses habitudes et nous propose de nous offrir un plat.Ma fille ayant été très affaiblie suite à cet incident, nous ne souhaitions pas renouveler l'expérience !Dommage, ce que nous avions mangé était bon.Mais très dangereux pour les gens intolérants car la mésaventure de notre fille indique qu'il y a de vraies traces de gluten dans leurs plats sans gluten."

"If it were a possibility, I would rate it 5 stars. The vegan momos were delicious and also the traditional tea. Even the people there were really nice! It is tiny, but so larger groups or visitors at rush hours should probably call first."

"We booked the Sunday brunch via the email address and we had no confirmation problem or sitting. the buffet was quite classic without surprise and bacon of good quality, pastries and fruity salads. on this point, I'd say they're not pushing any limits. I saw some good cakes, pies and doughnuts (this creation was my favorite). There is coffee and tea in carafes as well as a barista menu if you want to order it. one of the advantages of this reservation was an unexpected walk out of the densely populated tourist area to the canals and very interesting bridges. It was the fourth time I visited the city and I was happy to see this new feature beyond the cathedral and classic ornament kiosks and everything! Don't miss this corner of the map and also enjoy a brunch!"

"L’hôtel Spa du bouclier d’or nous a servis un brunch de qualité sous forme de buffet à volonté. On peut y trouver des produits frais et « haut de gamme » rien n’est surgelé. On y trouve des produits sales et sucrés. Certes le prix est un peu élevé mais vous y trouverez un cadre sympa dont une terrasse et un service au petit soin. Pour les fans de brunch je recommande.Attention aux bouclier d’or le plat change chaque semaines."
