"Our group of 3 old friends managed an early reservation mid week and Sam's, an absolutely wonderful, small, intimate authentic Italian restaurant. In spite of our late arrival (traffic), our table was held and we enjoyed a slow, steady and wonderful evening, just as if we were in Rome. We ordered several dishes all of whom were so tasty and well prepared. My appetizer of burrata cheese and cold sautéed veggies was delicious, perfectly accompanied by slices of Italian bread. For the main course, I ordered the special pasta of the day, large lobster ravioli a la vodka. So rich and tasty pasta was perfectly prepared and presented. My friends raved about their dishes one had Jumbo Shrimp Francese and the other was Chicken Portobello. We loved the pace of service by our waiter, and how attentive all of the staff were to every detail. The place is smallish (although we never saw whether there is seating upstairs) but we felt comfortable and the atmosphere was very nice with light Italian music in the background. Would love to return and highly recommend."

"I stopped by one of my favorite local fish markets today to grab some lunch. They have a great selection of choices from fried options to steamed seafood if you want a healthy alternative. They even have fried frog legs which I looove! I love their jumbo fried shrimp with fried whiting and onion rings. I'm almost embarrassed to say how often I eat here but I feel like I know the owner personally lol My go to are crab legs with corn on the cob and okra. The Seafood is always fresh but it is becoming quite expensive which seems to be the norm everywhere nowadays. It's a fish market and not a restaurant so sometimes it can be a bit crowded. My steamed crab legs typically takes about 10-15 minutes so if you don't feel like waiting, call ahead. Another reviewer stated that the quality is sometimes off in which I noticed that also with the fried options. Sometimes it's deeply fried and crispy and at times it's lightly fried and oily. I don't know if it's the person cooking the food, but if you like your fried food crunchy, I would make mention of it when ordering."
