"Cosy South Town Café am Römerpark, here you can comfortably drink a café or order another delicious drink, for example with a delicious piece of cake. The large windows and high ceilings in the old building provide a comfortable ambience. Time seems to be quiet here. Here the student, student of the artist, artist of the business man, meets woman to stay here together. The café conveys a very special flair of the southern city, which is reflected here. The service is very friendly, the café is excellent. People are all very nice. The café is highly recommended."

"We were blessed with a fine weather weekend and finished up utilising this Rhein side restaurant on two occasions during our extended weekend in Cologne and Dusseldorf due to its very pleasant outside dining area close to the river. The menu includes several German options...as well as Pizza and Pasta choices and as there was a group of five of us we went through several options over the two occasions and only really experienced one ropey meal. I went for a Pizza on the first occasion and the Spaghetti Fruti di Mare on the second , and couldn’t really fault either of those. Service levels were quite good but on the second occasion the waiter did pull the trick of pointing out where it said in big writing on the bill that service was not included, something he had not been doing to tables of locals. Not a behaviour we appreciated either so as a consequence he got a smaller tip than we were first intending."

"We were in cold for a 2n break, I really like my Chinese food, so my wife wanted to take me at our last night. the staff was rude, not polite. we asked about the menu and were given only blunt a...word reply. eating was very bad, the ribs were lost on the plate when they were shrunk in the microwave. the wife's pork was just over edible, but my sweet and sour bun was very blanching. we had a problem with our travel mastercard, so we asked a few minutes to look at it while we worked out what the problem was. the waiter, who was very grumpy, just stood over us until we fixed the problem that did not help and we felt that this was a very bad customer service and felt under pressure. we fixed the problem, but the damage was done when we stepped through the door. no pleasant experience."

"Wir hatten Glück, das Lokal war noch nicht so voll und uns wurde ein Tisch zugewiesen. Die weiblichen Bedienungen waren auch sehr freundlich und brachten schnell die Getränke und auch das leckere Essen.Jetzt das aber: Der Chef raunzte jeden neuen Gast an, ob er reserviert habe, brachte die Gäste dann an den entsprechenden Tisch und pfefferte die Speisekarten hin. Auf meiner Abrechnung war unser Essen (Platte für 2) 3 Euro teurer, als auf der Speisekarte. Meine Reklamation daraufhin wurde zwar vom Chef angenommen und ich bekam das Geld aus der Kasse der Bedienung, aber ob der Preis in der Kasse geändert wurde, kann ich nicht sagen. Hoffentlich muss die Bedienung das Geld nicht aus ihrer Tasche bezahlen."

"Eigentlich mögen wir dieses Cafe, aber es hat sehr nachgelassen, wir warteten eine halbe Stunde auf die Getränke, da ist eine überforderte Kraft einfach zu wenig Personal, und dann beim Zahlen wurde Kartenzahlung nicht akzeptiert und wechseln konnte das Mädchen auch nicht ... schade um dieses gemütliche Lokal."
